I don't get what a dynamic URL is?
-
I have a whole bunch of them and I have no idea how I created them. I just make titles, that's it. Nothin' fancy.

Hi
Nice photos by the way
How do you arrive at the pages with the dynamic URLs? Try signing out of WordPress and viewing the site while not logged in.
You have the canonical tag in place, so honestly, there is no duplicate content issue. I'm just curious how you discovered the different URLs? That's not usually something a normal user browsing the site will see, at least not what I've seen with WordPress anyway.

EDIT: It just occurred to me, you probably found these URLs in the SEOmoz campaign tools?

I don't know how they're creating themselves? It's like 1 post has several of them?!
Cindy and Jeff’s Wonderful White, Yellow and Silver Beach Wedding
Slideshow « Cindy and Jeff’s Wonderful White, Yellow and Silver Beach Wedding
Cindy and Jeff’s Wonderful White, Yellow and Silver Beach Wedding
(etc etc.)
And btw... I don't intentionally have a slideshow set up, but I do have Next Gen on my site?

A dynamic URL usually has something called a query string. In your URL, it's everything after the ? and is typically used to pass data to a programming language.
Some sites use mod_rewrite to change them to look less program related
It's important to note that ANY change in the query string will make Google see that page as distinct, even if there's nothing else different. If you have an issue with this type of duplication you should use canonical to narrow down your pages to just those with distinct content.
If you're adding titles (like to a Wordpress blog) it's possible that you're creating pages and your CMS program makes URLs based on titles
domain.com/blog/the-best-blog-topic-ever
Is that what you're referring to?

The test signature works and returns my account no. Here is my request: http://lsapi.seomoz.com/linkscape/links/www.screwfix.com%2F?AccessID=member-12345678&Expires=1357316478&Signature=12345678910&Scope=page_to_subdomain&Sort=page_authority&SourceCols=133982846973 I have replaced my memberID and signature with dummy data to protect my credentials. Is my request string correct? Also where can i get the expiry parameter?

Crawl Errors from URL Parameter
Hello, I am having this issue within SEOmoz's Crawl Diagnosis report. There are a lot of crawl errors happening with pages associated with /login. I will see site.com/login?r=http://.... and have several duplicate content issues associated with those urls. Seeing this, I checked WMT to see if the Google crawler was showing this error as well. It wasn't. So what I ended doing was going to the robots.txt and disallowing rogerbot. It looks like this: User-agent: rogerbot Disallow:/login However, SEOmoz has crawled again and it still picking up on those URLs. Any ideas on how to fix? Thanks!

How to remove URLS from from crawl diagnostics blocked by robots.txt
I suddenly have a huge jump in the number of errors in crawl diagnostics and it all seems to be down to a load of URLs that should be blocked by robots.txt. These have never appeared before, how do I remove them or stop them appearing again?

How do you guys/gals define a 'row?'
I have a question about calls to the API and how these are measured. I noticed that the URL Metrics calls allow a batch of multiple URLs. We're in a position where we need link data for multiple websites; can we request a single row of data with link information for multiple URLs, or do we need to request a unique row for each URL?

Garbled URL's in Private Messages.
Every time I try to put a url in a Private message it gets garbled up with extra chars and then won't go to the right place. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Mariah-Carle-Photography Becomes: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Mariah58973jhsdfui-Carle%8594743Photography Ok after that test I deliberately garbled a url and it STILL work in the open forums....
