You can consider any ethical link building techniques, like,
1. Link back from blog (not blog-networks), web 2.0 sites.
2. Guest posting (consider it to be of high-value)
3. Local web-directory submission with full information. (ex. locanto, hot frog etc.)
4. Article submission (Yes its still works in some cases) to high pr, clean directories but not too many.
5. Link back from relevant sites to your niche.
And more over try to maintain a natural link ratio for your site.

Then what are the link building strategies shall i apply to get ranked my keywords.

Hi,
I would go with "non directory"
Personally I would focus on a different link building technique - It's a risky slope and time eating technique to go after directories nowadays. It can take a lot of time with results or can even back fire.
However if you decide to move forward I would only follow the bellow rules:
1. check and see if the directory is not penalized first (it dosen't really mean it' safe but at least you have a chance).
2. make sure the directory, area of the directory where you will be listed (if you will be listed) it's actually really related with your website.
3. Make sure the directory is not advertising using (do follow links, seo friendly and so on as part of the motto and catch line)
4. Don't mind the PR - at all or just as an indicator if the site is alive or really on the Google's black list.
Hope it helps.

On page vs Off page vs Technical SEO: Priority, easy to handle, easy to measure.
Hi community, I am just trying to figure out which can be priority in on page, off page and technical SEO. Which one you prefer to go first? Which one is easy to handle? Which one is easy to measure? Your opinions and suggestions please. Expecting more realistic answers rather than usual check list. Thanks

Are links from directories still good practice?
Ok, so I am new at "link building"....which of course I have read furiously on how that philosophy is changed, it's a goal, not so much a process. I am focusing on great content, social sharing, etc. BUT, I see competitors still getting links from some of the directories that I have found listed on Moz as being "good" directories to list in. For example, yelllow pages, manta, ibegin, hot frog, etc. Do I have the terminology totally twisted here? Is it still good practice to get a couple links from these directories. Or is this practice completely the wrong thing to do post Panda & Penquin. Thanks guys!

Why Google loves MOZ for "Directory Submmission Service" ?
I have just for "directory submission service" in Google.com ( Geo Location USA ). I got two results from moz community for same thread. Does Google don't understand 301 redirect from seomoz.org to moz.com ? What about Domain Clustering ? PFA: SERP Screenshot kn8evtt.png

Bing Vs Google SERP
I realize the major search engines use different criteria but I don't see how - for the same home page keyword - my site could rank #3 on page 1 for a Bing search and be off the charts (Page 15+)? on Google. Has Google gone so far off the charts with their new Penguins and Pandas so as to be in a different universe? Seems Google is now extremely over-weighting big sites like Wikipedia, WebMD, eHow, etc. and in doing so vastly reducing the diversity of results shown. I am commonly seeing different pages of the same website appear multiple times in the first 2-3 pages of Google results. What's the point?

Does google index non-public pages ie. members logged in page
hi, I was trying to locate resources on the topics regarding how much the google bot indexes in order to qualify a 'good' site on their engine. For example, our site has many pages that are associated with logged in users and not available to the public until they acquire a login username and password. Although those pages show up in google analytics, they should not be made public in the google index which is what happens. In light of Google trying to qualify a site according to how 'engaged' a user is on the site, I would feel that the activities on those member pages are very important. Can anyone offer suggestions on how Google treats those pages since we are planning to do further SEO optimization of those pages. Thanks
