Mixed up Rankings
-
I was checking my ranking reports and double checking them on Google to see if it match.
My rankings was updated today on seomoz and almost none of the rankings match the real thing. For example I have a rank that in seomoz says 9th place and i am checking it at google and it says 6th. Is there a possible explanation?
I am in a need of an answer as soon as possible.
Thanks in Advance

Have same issue but it is Google doing it's dance at the moment will take some time to settle :-).

If you check here there are a few specific reasons why your results might vary in more detail:
http://www.seomoz.org/help/rankings
About 1/4 of the way down they detail a few reasons for the differences.
They also mention trying "To turn off personalization, append &pws=0 to the end, so it would look like google.com/search?q=SEO&pws=0."
And then theres always the chance for latency: the difference in time between when SeoMoz does the search and then sends you the report.

I am using various browsers for search plus i am not logged in and i am disabling previous search activity and stuff..........
-
Are you logged into Google? Do you have search history enabled? What is your geo targeted location?
Any of these can drastically change the rankings you will see. The effects of personalized search.
The fact that you are seeing a higher ranking in your results than what SeoMoz reports leads me to believe one of the above issues is causing your issue.
I usually have multiple browsers just for this purpose. I tend to have at least one browser that I almost never use for the purpose of "checking" rankings(opera or safari). I usually clear all cache and history from the browser to anonomize the results as much as possible. As well as to make sure that I'm not logged into Google.

Why is the weekly rankings report often inaccurate?
Does anybody else notice that the Moz weekly rankings report are often inaccurate? Many times it says a keyword (or many keywords) fell out of the top 50, although when I manually check the keyword in a Google search, it still shows that those keywords are ranking in the top 10. I've done these manual searches with personalized search settings turned off, as well as from a completely unbiased computer. Why is this happening? Does anybody have any suggestions? Thank you!

Search Volume in Keyword Rankings Page
Is there a way to show search volumes for keywords in the Keyword Rankings tab page? A lot of times keywords we are ranking for are added to our campaign, and it would be very useful to see the search volumes within that grid. That way we could sort by the search volume and determine which keywords are worth targeting and optimizing for. I've had this ability with other software in the past and would be a great option for either Moz Pro version or the new Beta that is coming out. Which I'm still waiting for my invite BTW:)

Keyword rankings tool not fully populated today?
I logged in today and my rankings are normally crawled on Thurs, and of my 66 keywords only 6 of them are showing any data - the rest are all blank. It's been going for weeks so it's not like it doesn't have it's initial data yet. I presume this is some issue or artifact that the results haven't been input yet. Can someone help answer this?

How to Refresh the Rankings Tool?
Is there a way to manually refresh the "Rankings" part of a campaign? I know about the Rank Tracker tool but didn't have a lot of keywords set up there. So I need to refresh the Rankings in the Campaign to know exactly which rankings have dropped in the past few hours... any way to do that?
