Big dip in errors last week?
-
Hi,
I have a client who has seen a big dip in their errors, warnings and notices - pretty much consistently across all - then they popped right back up the next week.
Is it possible it was a crawl error? What is the best approach to trouble shoot and find out why this happened? As far as they know, nothing major changed on their end.
Thanks!

Hello Becky, Abe here at Moz. Matt could be right about changes to the website causing the sudden dip. I have seen a drop like that take place several times when some minor changes have been made. Sometimes when pages are temporarily hidden from our crawler, we would fail to report any errors during that crawl. If you are seeing a discrepancy or something seems totally off, never hesitate to contact us at [email protected]. We can always dig in and get our engineers involved to ensure it wouldn't be a bug or error on our part.

Did your client change there website or hosting at all when the dip occurred?
If the client hasn't made any changes to there website during that time period where there was a dip and a week prior (MOZ crawl is once a week on Wednesday). I'd say it would be a crawl error.

I added a privacy policy link to my footer and now Moz is showing thousands of 4xx errors
My website didn't have a privacy policy so I added one and put the link in the footer menu. When I did this, Moz came back telling me that there are a lot of new errors on the site. Is this a bad thing? Do I need to address it? HY59Iks sYyAHCB

Moz is reporting weird email address URLs as 'Meta refresh' errors? Anything to worry about?
Under site crawl, Moz is reporting weird email address URLs as 'Meta refresh' errors. The URLs are: http://[email protected] and http://[email protected] Once clicked, they redirect to our homepage. Anyone else ever had this? Is it anything to worry about? I don't think it is, but would be good to get some reassurance.

Error Code 804: HTTPS (SSL) Error Encountered The Moz Help Section only says: 804 HTTPS (SSL) error 804 errors result from a site with misconfigured SSL software. If Moz's crawlers cannot correctly interpret an SSL response for a home page, the crawl ends immediately. Are MOZ Analytics dashboards available for other timeframes than the week just gone?
Hi Guys, We're wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to get moz analytics dashboard reports for timeframes other than just the last week? When we view the dashboard report, under the heading there is a 'timeframe' dropdown, however it only ever shows us the previous week as an option. Would be great if anyone knows if this is available now / soon? Cheers, Camille@Trilogy

New website launched 3 weeks ago but not sure what Moz Analysis is telling me?
Hi 3 weeks ago I re-branded and completely changed the proposition on www.over50choices.co.uk as the URL is appropriate to the proposition. And whilst it looks good I am unsure what the Moz Tools are telling me, other than it doesnt look good? There should be about 163 pages, but Moz reports over 500 due to i think so many 301's? Plus most pages under the HTTP Status reports No Data! Most of the the 404's are from the old site. Webmaster Tools say 163 pages submitted but only 2 indexed, but on site:search it says about 117 but 40+ of these are the old site. It looks a mess...! Sleepless nights have started - any thoughts!? Thanks Ash
