Why Isn't Google Authorship Showing My Picture?
-
I have several clients and the Google Authorship images used display in the search results for all of them. About a month ago all of the images disappeared, however it still displays "by <name>, indicating that Google Authorship is working -- it just doesn't show the image (see screenshots). The image follows the guidelines, and we've got the rel author tag in place, with a link back to Google. </name>
When I use the Google Structured Data Testing Tool it shows that authorship is properly functioning. I'm completely stumped. Does anyone have any ideas why this may not be working?
Here's two examples of the sites with Authorship not working properly (screenshots below):

It happened to me, too! This is what people said to my question http://moz.com/community/q/my-g-picture-stopped-showing-up-on-my-rankings-what-do-i-do
The one thing I don't understand is how people who have written far fewer articles than I have still have their picture. They all seemed to be in a lot more circles on g+ than I do, but that could just a coincidence.
I hope this helps you.

I'm not sure of the specific answer to your situation but it does seem that Google is kind of finicky when (and how) it comes to displaying authorship images in SERPS. I feel like it is still in a Beta phase and they are experimenting with it. Some things to check might be:
1. Were you logged into Google when you checked? Have you tried with different Google accounts? In other words what it shows when you are logged in as the author with the author's account might be different than a different Google user might see.
2. They seem to be very particular about what images are used. They don't want any logos or words. They want head shots specifically and seem to drop the image sometimes if the image isn't what they detect is appropriate. Try changing up the image on the authors account. I've heard even the cropping matters, if the head/face isn't a certain % of the whole image. They really seem to want a recognizable face in the small icon from what I've seen.

Duplicate 'meta title' issue (AMP & NON-AMP Pages)
how to fix duplicate meta title issue in amp and non-amp pages? example.com

example.com/amp We have set the 'meta title' in desktop version & we don't want to change the title for AMP page as we have more than 10K pages on the website. ----As per SEMRUSH Tool---- ABOUT THIS ISSUE It is a bad idea to duplicate your title tag content in your first-level header. If your page’s <title>and <h1> tags match, the latter may appear over-optimized to search engines. Also, using the same content in titles and headers means a lost opportunity to incorporate other relevant keywords for your page.</p> <p><strong>HOW TO FIX IT</strong></p> <p>Try to create different content for your <title> and <h1> tags.<br /><br />this is what they are recommending, for the above issue we have asked our team to create unique meta and post title for desktop version but what about AMP page?<br /><br />Please help!</p></title>0 -
Google rendering mobile to the right
So the website is displaying correctly in mobile devices and online tools. However, when using Google Page Speed Insights mobile or fetch as mobile in Search Console the page always loads as if it has moved 50% of the screen to the right - so whitespace on the left then 50% of the page in on the right side. I've been ignoring this. The site loads fine in devices and i've put it down to a glitch in Google, but at the same time it's been bugging me. Has anyone else seen this and should I ignore?

Show or hide content in responsive design
Hi everybody! I'm trying to design the mobile version of an ecommerce with lots of filters in the menu (size, colours, material, etc.) I'd like to know if it's better for this kind of sites to use an m.version or a complete responsive design. I have analyzed my keywords and it's true that my website is founded in a really similiar way in both cases (desktop and mobile) so I wanted to design the whole site in responsive at first, but I'm afraid of being penalized if I hide content in the mobile version. This is why I'm thinking about making the responsive for desktop and tablets and the m. option as well, so as to hide menus and images. What's your advice? Thanks in advance!

Hit by Panda - Google Disavow Help
Hi I hope you can help me A Website I manage has been hit hard by the Panda Update. I am really struggling to understand what is seen as a Spammy link. The Website use to be on page 1 for "fancy dress" now it isnt visable for that term at all and most other terms the site has dropped for. I have looked into what might have gone wrong and have removed several links , used the disavow tool 2-3 times and submitted re-consideration requests, but each time google informs me that they are still detecting unnatural links. Could somebody please take a look at our link profile www.partydomain.co.uk for "fancy dress" as an example and show examples of links you would consider that google might not like. It would also be good if anybody had any contacts in the UK that could help thanks Adam

Adding keywords to URL's
I understand the importance of having the keyword in the URL (at least now I do). When I created my site (www.enchantingquotes.com), I was completely ignorant about SEO. So....question is...how do I go about adding keywords to already done pages? Do I create a new section and then redirect - or do I have to basically recreate pages? Thx much 🙂
