How can I go from PR3 to PR4 ?
-
Hi guys !
I'm a one guy army here trying to get my website rank from PR3 to PR4. I have really great content (the website is an industry standard) that's about 80 pages.
I currently rank PR3 (find my stats down there). Anyone have an idea on an action plan to get to the next level ?
I don't have a budget, I just have manpower (more or less 1h seo everyday + one day a week to write content).
Thanks !

Do you mind giving us a link to your site?
Unfortunately there is no clear formula about how to improve page rank.
X Articles X Pages = ?
But as Jonathan suggested, if you can increase the number of links from high quality sites, it should have a positive effect for you as long as the on-age optimization of your site is pretty good.

Hi,
More inbound links from great domains will give a better PR. With a great content and good ideas (infographics...), the links will come.
Hope this helps! Best of luck with your SEO.
Jonathan

Benefits of getting inbound links to your Facebook account to go through your domain?
Hi, I was browsing a magazine recently and came across an advert that had a text of: domain.com.au/facebook When you visit this address you are automatically redirected to their Facebook account. It got me thinking, is there any benefit to this? It's the first time I've seen it and I presume they get links from outside sources to their FB account to go to domain.com.au/facebook rather than facebook.com/sitename Thanks

Do you think Google +1 can hurt rankings?
More on established B2C sites (not blogs/forums)? For example, a client has the #1 ranking for the kw with the highest exact match volume in their vertical and sitelinks. Is it better to keep things status quo and not give Google the data or potentially introduce a new signal to Google that might be negative if CTR is not high enough?

How do you believe Google's +1 service is going to affect SEO? What can we do?
So Google just announced the +1 button, which is there answer to Facebook 'likes' button: http://searchengineland.com/meet-1-googles-answer-to-the-facebook-like-button-70569 http://techcrunch.com/2011/03/30/google-plus-one/ They should begin showing up now on Google US. If you aren't seeing them, you can turn them on here: http://www.google.com/experimental/ I want to know? What affect do you predict these are going to have? Is there anything we can do from an SEO point to begin leveraging +1 right from the outset?
