Link Building Strategy Advice
-
Hi,
I was wondering what everyone's general strategy is for link building. We're doing it all ourselves manually (i.e. not paying $5 for 100,000 links) and are using the Site Explorer tool to find links to competitors and related websites.
The majority of sites are blogs and directories which ask for payment ($50 per month for example). We're obviously looking for free links as well but we're finding that pretty much every site wants something in return (cash or reciprocal link) - unless the content is amazing, why would anyone link to another site without an incentive?
We're focussing heavily on content and writing articles, blogs, press releases every week but the subject matter isn't always exciting enough for someone to really want to link to it naturally.
Thoughts?

I use WordTracker (You can signup for a free trial) - it lets you type in your domain, competitor domains, and viola - shows you who is linking to where - where you could possibly get links etc. Very helpful tool. I think it would work well in your case because SOMEONE is linking to "boring" content - and having this sort of visibility allows you to see where the story makers are coming from.

Internal Link Building and Link Juice Quality
Hi There! I manage the website for a law office that covers many geographical locations. For very specific niche content, we would prefer to create one piece of content and link to the various geographic locations where we would handle that topic instead of posting multiple variations of the same content for each specific geographical area. If we put a button on these pages that has links to each location, will that have the same "link juice" effect to the pages we're linking that linking directly in the text would? (example: the Where can we help you? button on this page : http://www.zdfirm.com/volkswagen-recall/) Thank you!

People Promising mass link building in one day and some other unrealistic things, Is it possible? Expert Advice Required
Hi Experts!! "Newbie Question", excuse me if it is something silly There are some experts on the internet(other than here) who are making big promises, about link building, thousands of back links in few days. They have executed thousands of orders and have excellent feedback. Back to the basics, SEO books say we shall build back links at slow and natural pace. I want to know whether such mass link building is possible in white hat SEO world? If yes, are they beneficial for SEO? Typical offers Service 1 Time taken 6 days "I will blast an eminent SEO backlink pyramid (EBP) with 5000 Profiles. consisting of 300 Site about site/domain PR 4+ among which there're varied from 10 to 20 edu / gov (edu.xx gov.xx) profiles randomly in tier 1 and then 4700 profiles built to 300 high PR sites above-mentioned as tier 2, 300+4700=5000 .(its 2 layers backlinks, We will send 300 to your url then we will send 4700 to the 300 links that link to your url , 4700=>300=> url ) .they are from world wide different / unique domains, about 80% of Tier1 are dofollow and publicly viewable." Service 2 7 days _ "I will build a 6 site linkwheel for you (PR3-8 Root Domain), & then ping all the web 2.0 sites. After it i'll create a total of 3000 backlinks to the 6 sites"_ Service 3 I will give you 10 (temporally 30!) powerful links from some of the biggest PR7 - 10 sites on the planet like: Microsoft Apple IBM Adobe Amazon etc Answer requested , so that I can follow the right track. Thanks in advance

Link Building for extremely niche industry
I understand that when getting links into your site, they need to be good authority but, importantly, also relevant to the information on your own website. I've seen examples for people to find guest posting opportunities on many sites, but these have been for popular industries with mass amounts of people discussing it (travel blogs, fashion blogs), making guest post opportunities more readily available. The company I work for provide doc storage, scanning and paperless solutions. As you can guess, when following these guides to find blogs on our industry, I have come up short with places to ask to guest post on! So, how would SEOmozzers approach building quality, relevant links for a very niche industry such as ours? Also, we'll be building pages for extremely specific types of files (e.g. Microfiche Scanning, A0 Scanning....). For these pages, how will I be able to find relevant pages on these topics to get a link to, because these will obviously be even more niche than doc scanning? Thank you!

Finding email addresses: Link Building
We're going to have 50-100 useful, well-written articles and we want them to be linkbait, and to use them in our backlink campaign. I assume when doing a backlink campaign, it is very important who you send your email to. What are the best ways to find the right email address, and who/what am I looking for?

Outsourced Link Building
Hello, I'm pretty sure everyone will just tell me to do the link building myself, but the truth is I don't have time. I've looked at link building firms in the past (and even used one), and they were all pretty dodgy. What should I look for in a quality link builder? What costs do you think are reasonable for a quality link? Is there anything you wish you'd known before going down a similar path? Thanks in advance for any help!

Link Building Features/Tutorials
I am previewing this software and am getting a little lost in its features. I am really looking for something that will help me identify link prospects, filter out the low-authority domains, and organize this information into an actionable list. Can anyone point me to resources (tutorials, etc.) on how to do that with this software? Which tools should I be using and how can I use them to reach these goals?
