Does anyone have/use any really good link analysis tools?
I have been using SEOmoz open site explorer but don't find it that indepth or find that many links.
I don't mind paying once the link analysis tool is good and I can export links to excell.
I was thinking of buying this software http://www.link-assistant.com/features-and-editions.html
Cheers,

I've used SEO Spyglass in the SEO Powersuite to do some competitive link analysis. You can get a lot of link data. Is there still a free download? I'd say give it a go and see if it suits your purpose.

My competitor's sneaky link building technique
Hi, I can't figure out how my competitor seems to fit four invisible nav menus into her home page. If you view her page source and type "/about" for example, it shows five examples of the text linking to her "about" page. But four of them can't be located on the web page (they are hidden). How does she do this? She basically has four duplicate links that are counted for SEO but can't be seen on the webpage. address: http:// camilla peffer.com. au/ Any ideas?

How to combat competitor buying who is buying links and winning.
I have a competitor who is buying links in the Featured Advertiser Links section of Washington Post online. His backlink profile is a very low # of referring domains. (38ish) with a good bit being repeats of Wahington Post. My question, is their strategy within Google guidelines, and what can I do to combat it? Thanks.

Tool for finding what keywords a competitor ranks for?
Does anyone know of any good tools that display what keywords a competitor ranks for? I have many competitors that I know get a lot of traffic, but I'm not entirely sure where the traffic comes from so it would be nice to plug in their url and get a general overview of what keywords they rank for and what positions.
