High PR Profile backlinks

High PR Profilebacklinks still worth for SEO ?
-
Yes thank you
-
KnowEm is a great site. I think these sort of accounts (profiles etc) should be done for brand management rather than SEO.
-
You are living in a post penguin world and the above mentioned methods now hold little to no value and could even damage your site. Have a look through the SEOmoz blog for TONNES of great info on the sorts of practises you should be undertaking in this day and age.

Thank you for this valuable site with us.
What about blog commenting wp etc .how that help to boost SEO.

Forum profile links are generally not good at linking directly to your site. However you can use forum profile links to build backlinks to your backlinks which will help index your links and give them a boost.
I have found that some high page rank profile links can still be useful to link directly to your site like high page rank web 2.0 profiles or niche related high pr profile links. But blasting a bunch of spammy profile links directly at your site will not work and may even hurt your site.
-
I wouldn't go out of my way to build a bunch of profile backlinks, but I would definitely get profiles made up on sites that make sense to use for your industry.
On a side note though, services like KnowEm can be useful for reputation management. Even if those profiles don't rank or pass any value along to your actual site, you can (and should) prevent someone from using your brand name.

Google balances SERP results with positive and negative News/PR?
Hey guys, We did reputation management back in March 2017. We basically built high quality links to online assets such as linkedin, twitter, facebook, positive PR articles and other web properties in order to rank them higher then negative PR. However there was 0 change (the link building was solid). And the negative PR remains in the top 10 with also positive new articles about the site. At this point, i believe that Google is keeping the negative PR in the top 10 to keep balanced SERP results. Does anyone know if this is something Google does to balance positive and negative results? Cheers, Chris

What's the best way to noindex pages but still keep backlinks equity?
Hello everyone, Maybe it is a stupid question, but I ask to the experts... What's the best way to noindex pages but still keep backlinks equity from those noindexed pages? For example, let's say I have many pages that look similar to a "main" page which I solely want to appear on Google, so I want to noindex all pages with the exception of that "main" page... but, what if I also want to transfer any possible link equity present on the noindexed pages to the main page? The only solution I have thought is to add a canonical tag pointing to the main page on those noindexed pages... but will that work or cause wreak havoc in some way?

Multiple Landing Pages and Backlinks
I have a client that does website contract work for about 50 governmental county websites. The client has the ability to add a link back in the footer of each of these websites. I am wanting my client to get backlink juice for a different key phrase from each of the 50 agencies (basically just my keyphrase with the different county name in it). I also want a different landing page to rank for each term. The 50 different landing pages would be a bit like location pages for local search. Each one targets a different county. However, I do not have a lot of unique content for each page. Basically each page would follow the same format (but reference a different county name, and 10 different links from each county website). Is this a good SEO back link strategy? Do I need more unique content for each landing page in order to prevent duplicate content flags?

Which one is better, a brand new subdomain or a second-level directory with PR 4
Hey, all SEOers! May I ask you a question about subdomain and second-level directory? Our website is about software, so we write many posts about how to use this software solve problems, and then use these posts to get ranks (we don't use the page of software to get ranks). And all the posts we wrote are listed under the second-lever directory, just like: www.xxx.com/support/ . But at this moment our boss want to list all the posts to the subdomain like support.xxx.com. By the way, the second-level directory is a page with PR 4, and the subdomain is brand new, even it doesn't exist now. So here is my question: should we list all the posts to support.xxx.com? If we choose to do like this, this will effect the speed of Google index, and we will take more time to build links for XXX.com and support.XXX.com? Any answer will be appreciated and thank you advance! to get rank instead of ranking the page of product,

High ranked web site on Google GONE - but webspam team says nothing wrong
We purchased several weeks ago a .org blog that has been highly ranked (number 1 on competetive keywords) for at least a year. it is a blog We moved the blog to our IP range and it went from #1 on top keyword and first page on another to the home page just gone. Now there was a secondary page indexed that stayed on page 5 for the keyword the home page was ranked #1 but the home page (which was high ranked page is just gone) We wrote the Google Webmaster team for reconsideration but they wrote back and said the web spam team said nothing wrong. A contact of mine who works for one of the most well known SEO compaines in the world says because we moved it the site could disappear for a week or so but the "algos would realize" and return it to that top spot soon. Does anyone know anything about moving a site to new IP and issues that can result?

High number of items per page or low number with more category pages?
In SEO terms, what would be the best method: High number of items per page or low number with more pages? For example, this category listing here: http://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/90/fsx-civil-aircraft/ It has 10 items per page. Would there be any benefit of changing a listing like that to 20 items in order to decrease the number of pages in the category? Also, what other ways could you increase the SEO of category listings like that?
