1. What is Baiduspider?
Baiduspider is Baidu search engine program which is used to visit pages on the internet and build information into Baidu index. This enables users to locate your site when they perform a search.2. What is Baiduspider’s user-agent?
Baidu uses different user-agents for different products:| Name of Products | User-agent |
| PC search |Baiduspider
|
| Mobile search |Baiduspider
|
| Image search | Baiduspider-image |
| Video search | Baiduspider-video |
| News search | Baiduspider-news |
| Baidu bookmark | Baiduspider-favo |
| Union baidu | Baiduspider-cpro |
| Business search | Baiduspider-ads |
| other search | Baiduspider |3. Will Baiduspider creates additional loading to customer servers?
In order to ensure the search results cover most of your pages, Baiduspider must keep the crawling at a certain level. We have been trying our best to avoid increasing the loading to your servers, and to adjust the frequency based on combined factors, such as your server's capability, your site’s quality and the update frequency of your site. If you find any unreasonable access from Baiduspider, please inform us athttp://webmaster.baidu.com/feedback/index (arab, thai,Português)Hope this helps.

How does google know if rich snippet reviews are fake?
According to: https://developers.google.com/structured-data/rich-snippets/reviews - all someone has to do is add in some html code and write the review. How does google do any validation on whether these reviews are legitimate or not?

Navigation for Users vs Spiders
We're creating a new global site nav that provides a great user experience, but may be less than ideal for the search engines. The user selects an item from category A, and is then presented options to choose from in category B, and then chooses a specific product. The user does not encounter any actual "links" until they choose the specific product. The search engines won't see this navigation path due to the way that the navigation is coded. They're unable to choose an item from A, so they can't get to B, and therefore cannot get to C, which is the actual product page. We'd like to create an alternative nav for the browsers, so that they can crawl the category pages for A and B, as well as the specific product pages (C). This alternative nav would be displayed if the user does not have javascript enabled. Otherwise, the navigation described above will be shown to the user. Moving forward, the navigation that the user sees may be different from what is shown to the search engine, based on user preferences (ie they may only see some of the categories in the nav, while the search engines will see links to all category/product pages). I know that, as a general rule, it's important that the search engines see the same thing that the user sees. Does the strategy outlined above put us at risk for penalties?

How to know if a link in a directory will be good for my site?
Hi! Some time ago, a friend of my added our site to a directory. I did not notice it until today, when in the search results for my domain name, the directory came in the first page, in the four position. My friend wrote a nice article, describing our bussiness, and the page has a doFollow link. Looking at the metrics of that directory, I found the following: Domain Authority: 70; main page authority: 76; linking domain roots: 1383; total links: 94663 (several anchor texts); facebook shares: 26; facebook likes: 14; tweets: 20; Google +1: 15. The directory accept a free article about a company, does not review it before it is published, but look for duplicated articles representing spam; so one company can only have one listing (in theory). Is there any formula to know if a directory is safe to publish a doFollow link? If they don't review the link I would say is not a good signal, but is there any other factors to take into account?

Can anyone explain these crazy SERPS?
do a UK based search for 'short term loans' on google. there are 7 sites on page 1 without any page or domain authority, several of them registered to a 'jeremy hughes', who I am guessing does not really exist. this is a very competitive term and they just shouldn't be making it onto page 1. im thinking this must be some clever 301 redirecting, as I cant see any backlinks to any of these sites in opensiteexplorer. any ideas how these sites are pulling this off?

Has anyone seen this kind of google cache spam before?
Has anyone seen this kind of 'hack'? When looking at a site recently I found the Google cache version (from 28 Oct) strewn with mentions of all sorts of dodgy looking pharma products but the site itself looked fine. The site itself is www.istc.org.uk Looking in the source of the pages you can see the home pages contains: Browsing as googlebot showed me an empty page (though msnbot etc. returned a 'normal' non-pharma page). As a mildly amusing aside - when I tried to tell the istc about this, the person answering the phone clearly didn't believe me and couldn't get me off the line fast enough! Needless to say they haven't fixed it a week after being told.
