Posted by Link on Moz - Broken
-
I wasn't sure which category to place this in as Support doesnt feature Q&A or the Moz site in general so I dropped it under other research tools to which the Q&A kind of is
Now I am not sure if it is just me and that you have rectified the issue, but when ever I click on the "posted by" links to the user. I am getting a page not found error.
The links in question can be seen in my two grabs and effect all posted by links on the Q&A section of Moz.
A simply trailing slash after .com "/" will do the trick

Hi everyone!
We've deployed a fix, and those links seem to be working. Thanks again for the heads up!

Hey everyone thanks for the heads up! We've notified our devs to get the links fixed.
-
Looks like it is just missing a trailing slash past the domain. The profiles are working, just the link itself is incorrect.
-
Yep, broken for me as well!
Maybe just a bug as perhaps many people don't click that so it hasn't been pointed out for a while?
Might be worth raising a support request to make them aware of it

In fact all links to user profiles are failing for me..... is it just me??? including the profile pic links.

Server blocking crawl bot due to DOS protection and MOZ Help team not responding
First of all has anyone else not received a response from the help team, ive sent 4 emails the oldest one is a month old, and one of our most used features on moz on demand crawl to find broken links doesnt work and its really frustrating to not get a response, when we're paying so much a month for a feature that doesnt work. Ok rant over now onto the actual issue, on our crawls we're just getting 429 errors because our server has a DOS protection and is blocking MOZ's robot, im sure it will be as easy as whitelisting the robots IP, but i cant get a response from MOZ with the IP. Cheers, Fergus

In Moz's Keyword Explorer/Explore By Site, Can I Exclude a Keyword From the Results?
Hypothetical question - Let's say I sell tax preparation software and I want to see the keywords that "turbotax.com" ranks highest for. Based on that list I might want to optimize for similar keywords on my site. But if I use Keyword Explorer, select "Root Domain", and enter "turbotax.com" as the root domain, the first 200 or so keywords in the list have the word "turbo". None of those interest me. Can I exclude certain keywords (like "turbo") from the list? Thanks.

Moz is flagging my callto: links as 404s. I "fixed" with tel: & nofollow and lost 2 DA. Help?
I changed the callto: links to tel: links in the footer and nofollowed them and my domain authority dropped 2. I'm assuming this is because we lost 2.8K "external links" Advice on how to remove 404s for Phone#'s without affecting DA? Will just using the tel: format stop Moz from crawling them as 404's? It was adding links to the 404 list that look like this: www.ocp.org/missals/callto:########### I assumed it was because to the crawlers the links looked like relative links this is what our links look like now: <a <span="" class="html-tag">href</a><a <span="" class="html-tag">="</a>tel:###########" rel="nofollow" title="Call us">########### Old footer links: <a <span="" class="html-tag">href</a><a <span="" class="html-tag">="</a>callto:###########" title="Call us">###########

MOZ Site Crawl - Ignore functionality Request
I now understand that the ignore option found in the MOZ Site Crawl tool will permanently remove the item from ever showing up in our Issues again. We desire to use the issues list as kind of like a To-Do checklist with the ultimate goal to have no issues found and would like to "Temporarily Remove" an issue to see if it is shows back up in future crawls. If we properly fix the issue it shouldn't show back up. However, based on the current Ignore function, if we ignore the issue it will never show back up, even if the issue is still a problem. At the same time, the issue could be a known issue that the end user doesn't want to ever show back up and they desire to never have it show again. In this case it might be nice to maintain the current "Permanently Ignore" option. Use the following imgur to see a mockup of my idea for your review. pzdfW

MOZ Site Crawl - Ignore functionality question
Quick question about the ignore feature found in the MOZ Site Crawl. We've made some changes to pages containing errors found by the MOZ Site Crawl. These changes should have resolved issues but we're not sure about the "Ignore" feature and do not want to use it without first understanding what will happen when using it. Will it clear the item from the current list until the next Site Crawl takes place. If Roger finds the issue again, it will relist the error? Will it clear the item from the list permanently, regardless if it has not been properly corrected?

| np - /google-structured-data-update/ | In my "New Rankings & Insights | Hill Web Creations" report, while "Google structured data update" moved up significantly, at the same time, "np - /google-structured-data-update/" moved down significantly. Any insights that would offer a deeper understanding of the discrepancy and how to pull both up? If this corresponds with Google Analytics, the "np" Acquisitions > Campaigns > Organic Keywords > "Organic Search Traffic" Report, how is Moz rendering is New Rankings & Insights?0
