Problem with indexed files before domain was purchased
-
Hello everybody,
We bought this domain a few months back and we're trying to figure out how to get rid of indexed pages that (i assume) existed before we bought this domain - the domain was registered in 2001 and had a few owners.
I attached 3 files from my webmasters tools, can anyone tell me how to get rid of those "pages" and more important: aren't this kind of "pages" result of some kind of "sabotage"?
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this.
Thank you,
Alex

You can file a Reconsideration Request and explain you have recently acquired the domain and suspect it may be under a penalty. If the site is under a manual penalty, it would likely be lifted. Otherwise, the site may be under an algorithmic penalty. Build your site out, establish new links and you should be fine over time.

Thanks Ryan,
Yes the domain is ours and I was hoping to see those links disappearing from our webmasters tools - I guess I need to be more patient.
It appears that in the past, this domain was a paid directory - I wonder if there's a penalization on it as well - kind of strange not to rank for it's own name...

Is stocktips.com your domain? If so, it seems you have removed the old content which means the links on those pages will be gone as well. All the internal links and their 404 errors will naturally disappear in a month or two. You should see the number of those errors decreasing each week as they drop off.
You could redirect the pages to a 410 error, but it already has been over 2 1/2 weeks since the Oct 8th date in your screenshot, so I would simply allow them to fall off naturally.

Website is not indexing
Hi All, My website URL is https://thepeopeople.com and it is neither caching nor indexing in Google. Earlier the URL was https://peopeople.com. I have redirected it to https://thepeopeople.com by using 301 redirections. I have checked the redirection and everything else is fine and I have submitted all the URLs in search console also, still the website is not indexing. Its been more than 5 months now. Please suggest a solution for this. Thanks in Advance.

Choice of domain
Hi. I want to build a new site that is optimised for a training product that we have. We have an existing domain which I'm considering pointing at this new site. This domain is one of the new .training TLDs. Let's call this domain foo.training where my main keyword to optimise for will be "foo training". I've also looked and can see that foo-training.com is available. I read up on best practices for domains here : https://mza.seotoolninja.com/learn/seo/domain My question is will the .training domain be seen as "spammy" in any way? Am I better to just go ahead and register the .com?

Which domain we should continue with?
Hello All, We are working with a client who had manual penalty from Google. We worked on that and now penalty has been removed. Client had already started working on the new domain and now the big dilemma is- Which domain should we continue with? Old or New? We are suggesting them to continue with the old one as that domain had good PR, good backlinks, better visibility on their social profiles etc. What do you suggest? any inputs are highly appreciated. Thanks

Will Links to one Sub-Domain on a Site hurt a different Sub-Domain on the same site by affecting the Quality of the Root Domain?
Hi, I work for a SaaS company which uses two different subdomains on our site. A public for our main site (which we want to rank in SERPs for), and a secure subdomain, which is the portal for our customers to access our services (which we don't want to rank for) . Recently I realized that by using our product, our customers are creating large amounts of low quality links to our secure subdomain and I'm concerned that this might affect our public subdomain by bringing down the overall Authority of our root domain. Is this a legitimate concern? Has anyone ever worked through a similar situation? any help is appreciated!

Hello, we've changed our CMS recently, everything seems to work well, but for some reason google, and other crawlers can't see or index other pages than main. There is no restriction in robots, nor any other visible issue. Please help if you can. Website: http://www.design-glassware.com/
