Keyword Ranking Tool
-
Hi guys,
Can anyone help with a software (online or offline / paid or free) that can help us get the keywords and the rankings our websites are ranking for?
*** NOTE: We already use some software to get our rankings for a list of keywords we submit. We are interested in a software that can pull our keywords and rankings WITHOUT having to submit a keyword list. We want to know where and what for do we rank (especially long tails).
Also, we know we can use a turn around (by exporting the keywords we get traffic from from Analytics and using Market Samurai to get the rankings, but we prefer an independent software that does all this automatically for all the links on our entire domain.I remember I accidentally got into such software a couple of months ago, but lost the track of it :).
Please let me know if you know about such software. I hope I am not chasing after shadows

Hi John,
This is amazing. It's pretty much what I was looking for. Not only it shows the average ranking position, but is also shows ... everything else
Thanks for your help. You saved me much time

Thanks Gary,
SEMRush is a good choice. I tried the free version (the one on their home page) and it only shoes the fist 10 rankings.
It also shows that our website is ranking for 1863 keywords ... rather than 250 I was manually tracking.
I will probably have to go pro if I do not find an alternative
Thanks for your help.
Much AppreciatedTolik

This lives in your Google Webmaster Tools account under Your site on the web > Search queries. You can also access this data in Google Analytics if it's synced to your GWT account, under Traffic Sources > Search Engine Optimization > Queries. This will give you impressions, clicks, average position, and CTRs of different queries you're ranking for in Google.

Do old links from my own unrelated subject websites improve or hinder my rankings?
Several years ago I placed links on two of my other websites I own and control one my old company about CCTV installation and the other one is the official website for actor Sir Roger Moore. The links are going to my holiday cottage letting website http://www.endeavourcottage.co.uk/ and at the time I wanted to improve my rankings with these links which are still there. The vast majority of my other inbound links are natural and are on other people's websites with some diversity regarding the anchor text. So my question is the old links on these unrelated subject websites which are also stored on the same web hosting company causing a problem and would it be beneficial to remove them to leave them in place? Also several years ago I set up two other websites at the same hosting company also promoting holiday cottages in the same place thinking I might have more bites of the cherry, but they've produced very little traffic and are not ranked at all well, but they do links to my main letting website, could these because in a problem? My domain authority seems to be equal to some of the companies which are higher placed for the short tail keywords on page 1 of Google and they have less inbound links, although they are usually bigger companies and I know many things which influence rankings. I am trying strategies to improve the rankings, which have dropped to a small degree over recent months.

Do rankings return to previous rank after a site has been un-indexed?
My client has had a site since 1996 (the first one was a www subdomain, his current site has no www). He came to my company for SEO about a year ago, after having a WordPress site that was accidentally set to not be crawled/indexed by search engines. We set the site to be indexed and added a blog. Since then, he has had slow increase in keyword rankings (on page 3 or most globally searched terms) but is still nowhere near page 1 for most of his keywords. He thinks my company has done nothing, while I see the keyword improvements as a sign of success - slow, gradual - but going in the right direction. I don't know if he was ranking well before he had a site that was not set to be indexed - but if he was on page one, would he eventually return there? Or do we have to build everything over again?

Convert Oganic ranking into Local Search Results
Hi, Right now, my website appears in top 5 results in organic SERPs, but I noticed that my business has gradually started going down, as my local results have been replaced by organic search results. Initially I used to rank in local results, but now, I appear in organic results so the no. of calls/day have decreased significantly. Now, I again want to appear in local search results instead of organic results. Please advice what should I do to remove my listing from organic search results and improve position in local search results PFA the screenshots for both the results for your better understanding. I look forward to hearing from you. Regards, qHKAt.png 0cPOp.png

"Links To Your Site" In Webmaster Tools
How often does Google update the "links to your site" data. It seems that it has been static for about a month now even though we have made a lot of changes Does anyone have any idea? If you have made changes to your links (i.e removed links, updated anchor text, etc.), do you have to wait for this information to be updated to measure the impact? Or is that whenever Google crawls those pages/sites and sees changes there is a adjustment. Thanks

Help ranking for a keyword
So I found a keyword that is labeled as "Low Competive" on Google Adwords. About a week and a half ago I optimized the page using the SEOMOZ On-Page optimization tool. It says that I am 100% with everything. My website is new but it has been around for about a year. I haven't gotten into linking and the more in depth SEO. After doing some searches though I noticed a lot of other new website that are atleast ranking in the top 50 for certain keywords, so I figured I could get my page to rank atleast in the top 1000 for this "Low Competitive" keyword. Could someone take a look and see if maybe I over optimized it or did something that would make this keyword not rank even in the top 1000 on google? Any advise is appreciated. I am obviously very new to SEO, but I am someone that likes to do and learn everything for myself. Thanks in advance! The keyword is: Nitro Monster Truck The web page is: http://www.rcnitroshop.com/nitro-monster-truck
