Automating the brainless tasks of Social Media Management
-
I'm talking about
Scheduling Tweets
Scheduling FB Updates
I'm sure I'll be pointed to some good resources for the above but what I really need is a tool that allows me to sort out queries/complains/requests that I would need to pass on to my client. Something that lets me tag a comment and gathers it with complete data like user name, time, comment etc. Does something like this exist?!
Similarly, something that allows you to filter words that should be treated as spam.
Also, suggestions on what other "brainless" tasks of SMM should be/can be automated would be appreciated.
Regards,
Edit: No responses as yet! Whats up Mozzers?

CoTweet allows you to assign tweets to other people as well, and archive tweets for which you don't need to respond.
To be honest, the use of the word brainless in the post a couple of times might have been what kept people from answering, as those who use FB and Twitter for business might argue a bit about it being brainless.

I have heard a lot of good things about Hootsuite. You can manage various social accounts, share them with other admins and schedule your tweets. Maybe you can check it out.
HTH.

Social Media Integration plugin switch
I am wondering what would happen if I switched my plugin for social media integration on my WordPress site. For instance, if I have been using Sociable for a long time and have accumulated +1's, likes, shares etc. and then I switch to Flare or Social Stickers, what will happen to all my counts? Thanks so much! I haven't been able to find any documentation on this.

Anyone seen REAL proof that White Hat & Social Signals leads to rankings ?
Trying to be a good, clean SEO, I have been spending the last two and a half years focusing a lot on building up solid social communities on Twitter, Facebook, Google Plus, Pinterest and YouTube. Back when I began doing this, I believed that old school link-building was on its way out, and that, to stay on the 'clean', White Hat side of Google, social was the way to go for future success in organic search. But my main competitor is STILL buying links left and right, and has absolutely no social media following...and he's kicking my butt more and more in the rankings. And I seem to be losing out with my strategy. So I would really like to know: have any of you experienced proof, first hand, that you can win with SEO by focusing on social signals, and by letting NATURAL, earned links pretty much take care of themselves, by trying to create good content? Because I am FRUSTRATED. I thought I was being one of the good guys. I thought I was going the safer, risk-free way to success. And I knew it would take me longer to become successful this way...but it's been YEARS now, and I still don't see any signs of it happening any time soon !

Why isn't SEOMoz using Wistia's social sharing feautes?
I noticed that SEOMoz does not make use of Wistia's social sharing buttons such as a Facebook Like button. Is there any disadvantage to using the like button via Wistia rather than copy/pasting it in static HTML?

Should links to your social media accounts be followed?
Hi There, Just wondering if you guys (and girls) think that your links to social media accounts be followed or nofollow? This includes sitewide header/footer links and other text links littered throughout the site. Includes Twitter, FB, Pinterest and G+ specifically (for my site anyway). Thanks in advance!

Social mentions and 301 to new domain
Hi all, I have noticed that when moving to a new domain your normal links will move along with you when you set proper 301 redirects and use google webmaster tools. But I'm under the impression your twitter mentions, fb likes etc. on the different pages will be lost... I'm looking forward to your comments and ideas. Cheers

Social Media For Doctors Office Help!
I have a client that I am doing web-work for...I recommended for him to claim his Facebook Place page as well as create a twitter account. He's a little skeptical and doesn't think that a doctors office needs a Facebook and twitter page. I strongly disagree with him and would like to show him some facts. Has anyone ever done social media for a doctors office before or know where I can get some good information? Thanks in advance!
