Any issues with buying Twitter followers, FB fans, or Youtube subscribers?
-
I've seen many websites on flippa selling twitter followers, FB fans, or Youtube subscribers.
Any caveats about doing so?
Thanks.

I'd start by asking yourself why you want followers, and then think about the return on investment you're likely to get.
There's no quick way to buy a loyal following, you have to earn it.
You want "followers", not "zombies"...

The followers you get from these ventures are usually not real followers but fake accounts that are created simply to boost people's numbers. There might be some benefit in buying followers if you want to boost your numbers to show potential new followers that you are popular. But, you're not likely to get any fans that are going to interact with you.

So I'm not entirely sure abot how these co-op programs work, from what I have been able to discern I believe that the companies doing so have built netowrks of both spam accounts they have created and 'co-op' accounts where they pay soma small amount, say $0.02/follow to users to motivate them to fulfill their requests to follow there customers.
What I have noticed talking to some people who have purchased twitter followers is that they tend to see a 20-30% un-follow within 5-7 days of the delivery. So this is not only a poor solution for gaining interested and targeted followers, but it is not a sustainable way to keep your count up either.
If you are considering purchasing one of the sites and the corresponding service I would caution you to do a lot of due diligence on the fulfillment process and find out exactly how the provider is recruiting, retaining, and compensating it's partners.

How do I quickly check which keywords Google index YouTube videos for on first page?
I'd like to create YouTube videos since they can be a good way to rank for certain keywords. So I'd like to find a way to QUICKLY know which of the thousands of keywords I have are most likely to result in a first page result for my video. Is there a tool or technique you can recommend for quickly identifying the keywords I should target?

How to get a link on Twitter box in Huffington Post?
Hey guys, got a question about the Huffington Post and its Twitter widget - see screenshot attached HuffPo seems to be aggregating links somehow under the "Top links on this topic" heading within the Twitter widget. At first I thought this was an official Twitter wdget; http://twitter.com/about/resources/widgets However, I can't find it on Twitter's site and I'm starting to think it's a custom widget possibly developed by HuffPo themselves. My question is how do I get my site to rank under their "Top links"? Is it feeding on Twitter presence or is it feeding from Google News or through something else? Many thanks in advance for any light shed on this topic Edit: Link to Huffington Post page example from screenshot Screen%252520shot%2525202011-10-24%252520at%25252017.26.54.png

Impact of URL shorteners in Twitter feeds
Hello, Will use of URL shorteners [bit.ly/tiny.cc or equivalent] in Twitter feeds impact the rankings of a target pages? As I understand it Twiitter links are automatically generated as nofollows so I am assuming the published link is irrelevant. Is this still the case? If we do continue to use URL shortereners should we look at branded URL-shorteners to provide link context? Thanks.

Is facebook and twitter always a good idea to promote a website and improve Google rankings?
I'm attempting to promote a fresh seafood market / restaurant here on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. I have not found a lot of examples of people using Twitter and Facebook to promote this type of business here. Is it hard to justify the time for return here? One benefit I thought for twitter is we could have tweets displayed on site giving us some dynamic content which would hopefully keep Google spider coming back more regularly is this correct? Is there any link building advantage to using these social media sites?
