SEOmoz duplicate content checker

From my reports in seomoz i can see pages that are showing as having duplicate content but when i click on them it does not show me which pages are carrying the duplicate content?
Is there any way to check this via semoz reports?

Hi Jazavide!
This is Megan from SEOmoz. Sorry about the troubles finding your duplicate URLs! If you click into the duplicate content error, there's a section that says 'other URLs' with numbers that you can click on. Here's a screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/617gjHQFx34
Once you click on these numbers, you'll be able to see the URLs that are duplicates. You can also find this information by exporting your crawl diagnostics to a CSV: http://screencast.com/t/dS0ptEPx
We also have a great resource for learning more about the crawl diagnostics section of your campaign in our Help Hub: http://www.seomoz.org/help/crawl-diagnostics
I hope this helps!

Hi jazavid
Another way you can check is to run a crawl test under the SEO Web Crawler Tool.
Open the results in Excel. You will see the Yes/No to duplicate content question in column L. Column M is headed up as 'URLs with Duplicate Page Content (up to 5)' For every URL that says Yes to duplicate content, you will see listed up to 5 other URLs that are considered as duplicate
Hope this helps

It does show the pages that are showing the duplicate content.
If you go to your dashboard and click on the campaign you want.
Under "crawl diagnostics" and "most common errors and warnings" click on the blue link that says "duplicate page content"
Once you are there, scroll down to below the graph and you'll see the pages there.

All I really wanted to know is if the semoz duplication tool carrys out its full purpose.
So I can see that seomoz identifies that there is duplicate content via the crawl diagnostics but then it seems not to show where these duplicate pages are? So it seems like the tool is only doing half of its job unless i am using it incorrectly?
Anyone any ideas if this tool identifies which are the duplicate pages?
Thanks

If you have a campaign setup you can go to the crawl diagnostics and click on the duplicate content warning to get more details. If not then perhaps you could use Google Webmaster Tools.
Here is a post about finding duplicate content that can help on SearchEngineJournal.com
Usually duplicate content is caused by urls's and can be fixed with 301 or canonical tags.
Hope this helps,

Missing/Duplicate Content but it's definitely all right!

Title: http://bit.ly/2P6v9To Description: http://bit.ly/356BkvY H1: http://bit.ly/2PrlmpU Canonical tag: http://bit.ly/355rQRU Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Duplicate Content & Rel Canonical Tag not working
I'm really questioning the legitimacy of the duplicate content flags with moz. I'm building a website that sells home decor products and a lot of the pages are similar in structure (As would be expected with a store that sells thousands of individual products). It seems a little overkill to me to flag the following pages as duplicate content. They have different urls, titles, h1, h2, and h3 tages, different meta tags, etc. Right now, it's saying that the following have duplicate page content: http://www.countryporchhomedecor.com

It keeps saying that pages with a rel canonical tag are duplicates when some of the urls that it's flagging shouldn't even be indexed because of the canonical tag. Why are there significant changes in the amount of duplicate content without any known action?
I've noticed a surprisingly rapid change in duplicate content over the past month. I'd noticed ~6,000 instances of duplicate content, after disavowing bad links we went down to 3k, this makes perfect sense to me. But after that, without doing anything whatsoever, from last Thursday, the 20th, to yesterday the instances of duplicate content decreased again down to 2k. Could this just be a delayed indexing of pages or are there other factors here? Thanks for the help.

Member Only Content
I run a wordpress based website that contains a large amount of free content, but also a large amount of content that is only accessed via a paid membership. After running a SEOmoz campaign for the site, it showed 3600 errors for duplicate page titles and 1900 errors for duplicate page content. After looking into the errors it became clear that the majority of them were due to the fact that if you clicked on a link to paid content, it would take you to the paid membership sign in page. So how to I go about fixing these errors? I don't want this to hurt my rankings. Or fix it if it already has.

Confusion about how SEOMOZ crawler works...
So according to my SEOMOZ dashboard, I'm ranking between #3-4 for one of my keywords. My keyword is 'Boston Wedding Photographer'. My site is http://www.symbolphoto.com I show up in google places, true. But i was wanting to rank organically. Am i right in the assumption that Google Places and Google Organic are not the same thing? SEOMOZ claims 3,4th but not organically(Assuming they aren't the same thing) I get pretty good traffic right now being in Places, but i can't help but feel that organically ranking would bring more traffic. Any suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated. TIA! -Brendan

Crawl reports urls with duplicate content but its not the case
Hi guys!
Moz Pro | | MakMour
Some hours ago I received my crawl report. I noticed several records with urls with duplicate content so I went to open those urls one by one.
Not one of those urls were really with duplicate content but I have a concern because website is about product showcase and many articles are just images with href behind them. Many of those articles are using the same images so maybe thats why the seomoz crawler duplicate content flag is raised. I wonder if Google has problem with that too. See for yourself how it looks like: http://by.vg/NJ97y
http://by.vg/BQypE Those two url's are flagged as duplicates...please mind the language(Greek) and try to focus on the urls and content. ps: my example is simplified just for the purpose of my question. <colgroup><col width="3436"></colgroup>

FB Shares in SEOmoz Keyword Analysis Tool
Hello everybody, I'm quite confused in how to understand "FB Shares" in SEOmoz Keyword Analysis Tool Report. As You may know, this section is under report's "Social Signals" category. Does this number counts whole FB shares of some website links by ALL FB users? Or is it a number of some website FB account posts? Some clearance would be very helpful.. The same question applies to other social signal reports: Tweets, Google+ shares. Thank You for your answer! Happy New Year!
