My Site PR5 lost to PR4 ! I worked as per SEOmoz Suggestion - No Traffic Drop, Organic Search is good and higher than referral or Direct Traffic !
What might be the problem ? Nov 29-2012 my site was hacked very badly and google Blacklisted me for the first time and if you see now " it says, Past 90 days nearly 19 times my site was acted as medium to spread virus"
Even thought we checked our FTP, Cpanel or Home Directory - Everything seems good.
My domain which was hosted - has other domains in the same network and some are porn - those sites are injecting malicious code !
May be that's the reason or please give me some idea how to improve it !

Anyone big enough is generally fine. I've nothing against hostgator, rackspace, ukfast, etc. I'd only really stay away from GoDaddy hosting.
I use - http://www.5quidhost.co.uk/ - for a lot of sites.
I believe these guys are pretty good and run by a bunch of goons from the SA forums - http://www.lithiumhosting.com/

My Site is Clean for now !, but thinking to use the Seccuri !
Which Host i can Prefer ! Right now using WpWebHost !
-
You know what, I tell people to ignore PR so often, I completely glossed over the server issues!
Yes, should definitely change host, though any shared hosting runs the risk of having less than desirable neighbours.
Esaky, can you be sure your site is clean?
Site is not currently listed as dodgy - http://www.google.com/safebrowsing/diagnostic?site=www.animhut.com%2F - which is good.
Worth checking for exploits anyway. Some advice here (pdf) - http://docs.apwg.org/reports/APWG_WTD_HackedWebsite.pdf
-
I would start by getting myself onto a new host for starters! But as Barry said, don't worry about PR as this means absolutely nothing in terms of where you get found in the SERPs.
-
Thank you ! I am Not selling links ! i can say the traffic to my blog is steady ! only thing i think so is my site Google Blacklisted sometimes !
-
Does it matter?
If you're ranking better and getting better traffic then why worry about your PR?
Unless you're selling links, in which case you've maybe found your problem.
TBPR is not important on its own for ranking. Don't worry about it and focus on getting more traffic instead.

Our site dropped by April 2018 Google update about content relevance: How to recover?
Hi all, After Google's confirmed core update in April 2018, we dropped globally and couldn't able to recover later. We found the update is about the content relevance as officially stated by Google later. We wonder how we are not related in-terms of content being ranking for same keywords over years. And we are expecting to find a solution to this. Are there any standard ways to measure the content relevancy? Please suggest! Thank you

Panda 4.0 Suggestions
My site was hit pretty negatively by Panda 4.0 and I am at a loss for the best way to address it. I have read like every article that I can and I know there is some duplicate manufacturer product descriptions but I don't hear many other ecoms complaining about Panda so I figure it must be something else. Also, the pages that seem most negatively affected are category and product list pages. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks! http://bit.ly/1plgOzM

Author Photo No Longer Showing Up in Search
My author photo has been showing up in search for quite some time but starting today I noticed that it no longer does even though the structured data testing tool still has it showing up. It only seems to show up on my google+ profile. Anyone notice the same thing?

Sudden drop after 301 redirection
Hi Experts We did a 301 redirect from an old site to a new site to get rid of any bad link juice. We recently found a big drop in rankings and traffic after google last indexed the new web pages. We did 301 using asp at page level coding. The website had 4000 approx. pages and we did 301 section by section. This is how we did as per one of the blog post in seomoz. Create a sitemap for your old domain. Create content (contact information, description of your company, indication of future plans) and something link worthy for the new domain. (You should start trying to build links early) Setup the new domain and make it live. Register and verify your old domain and new domain with Google Webmaster Tools. Create a custom 404 page for old domain which suggests visiting new domain. Old Domain error checking and fixing In a development environment, test the redirects from the old domain to the new domain. Ideally, this will be a 1:1 redirect. (www.example-old-site.com/category/sexy-mustaches.html to www.example-new-site.com/category/sexy-mustaches.html) 301 redirect your old domain to your new domain. Submit your old sitemap to Google and Bing. The submission pages are within Google Webmaster Tools and Bing Webmaster Center (This step will make the engines crawl your old URLs, see that they are 301 redirects and change their index accordingly.) Fill out the Change of Address form in Google Webmaster Tools. Create a new sitemap and submit it to the engines. (This will tell them about any new URLs that were not present on the old domain) Wait until Google Webmaster Tools updates and fix any errors it is indicated in the Diagnostics section. Monitor search engine results to make sure new domain is being properly indexed. We also did a press release with prweb to announce the new launch. We followed the steps recommended in one of the I am not sure what to do next. Can anyone suggest if its normal to see a drop and we should wait for some time or if we did something wrong? We are loosing business with every single day. Please help !

Test contet/pages indexed by search engines
During the web development stages of our Joomla CMS website, we have managed to get our site indexed for totally irrelevant test pages mainly to do with Joomla and some other equally irrelevant test content. How damaging is this to our domain from an SEO prospective and is there something we can do about it? When we do a site:domain.com search we see hundreds of testpages with test/irrelevant meta tags etc.
