4 Things to Ask When Looking to Hired Peoples for Guest Blog with High P.A.
-
I want to hire a contractor on eLance to built back links using guest blogs
For the guest blog submits, those are the things a will ask:
-
a post where I can comment with a Page Authority of 20 or more
-
a blog where I can post has guest, where I don't have to create a account
- a blog that accept comments and have comments in the post
- the post page suggest must be pretty new, not more then 6 months old
Do I forget something? Do you have any comments on this or anythings I should know before posting this job?
Thank you,
BigBlaze

What I'm trying to say is that your criteria may exclude blogs in your industry that are high quality with requirements about not needing to register. Everything on YouMoz is about online marketing, so it wouldn't be a place to post about furnace filters.
I think you're missing requirements about the topic of the blog, making sure that the post is a good fit for the blog, making sure existing posts on the blog are high quality, and making sure that the guest post content that you provide is high quality with proper grammar, spelling, references, fact-checking, and formatting.

How can I post on youMoz?
Alos, is everything in there about seo?
We are selling furnace filters online... Nothing to do with a seo blog!!!
Thank you,

That could actually exclude a number of good blogs. YouMoz from SEOmoz doesn't meet a couple of your criteria -- we require a free account, and we've been around for several years now.
I'm not seeing anything in here about the quality of the blog, if the guest posts are all related to the theme of the blog or if anything on any subject is accepted, if it's related to your industry, what type of content you have to offer, and so on.

Has anyone used Fat Joe as an outsource solution for blog links?
Hi guys, I have seen a company on social media a lot recently who offer a guest blog posting service. It seems to be reasonable quality from the reviews and the blurb they give as they at least seem to find you a relevant blogger to match up with, actually write good content with as many reviews as is needed and then post it to just that one page. I noticed on their site they have claimed that their service is Loved by Moz but I couldn't find any reference to them anywhere on the Moz site. My question is - has anyone used them and are the links going to be any good for my site?

Is blog commenting still useful for SEO, post Panda and Penguin?
One website I checked is ranking well on Google. Upon checking its backlinks, I found that most of them are blog comments. Is blog commenting still valuable? Anyone encountered any recent problem (ranks gone down, etc)? Are there any specific strategy to blog commenting these days? Thanks!

The best way to spend 4 hours/day on offsite SEO?
I have an assistant who is able to do 4 hrs of SEO work for me every day. I don't have much onsite SEO work for him to do, and he's not skilled for social media management, so I'm thinking the best thing to have him do is manual link building. So far I've had him create a spreadsheet of more than 1,000 blogs and directories that relate to the subject matter of our websites, and had him include the domain authority of each and if they use the "nofollow" attribute on their links. Next I will have him start adding comments/submissions that include links back to our sites, starting with the highest DA sties and ones without the "nofollow" attributes. Do you agree this is the best way to have him spend his time? Are there other tasks you would highly recommend? Ryan

Should I invite people to guest post?
I'm a little confused about the benefits of inviting people to guest post on my site. I've just read http://www.seomoz.org/blog/using-passive-link-building-to-build-links-with-no-budget which suggests that by inviting people to guest post on my site I can build a relationship with them and eventually ask them to post a guest post of mine on their site. If both posts have a link back to the owners site doesn't this amount to reciprocal linking? Or am I missing something? Is a reciprocal link only classed as such if the link points to the exact page where the article is or can a reciprocal link point to anywhere on the site and still be classed as reciprocal?

Too many links in my blog post created by comments. Should I worry?
Every year, we do a popular "Favourite pictures of the year" contest where people vote on the best picture (i.e: their mate's) in order to win something. But I just found that I'm going way over the "Too many links" limit and I think it's because of all the comments. 1. Is it a problem 2. Is there a way to de-activate the links? Thank you! 🙂 Ioan

High PR networks look like they are gaining traction - and working!
Let me put a disclaimer here that I do not use high PR networks in any of my seo endeavors. That being said, they have always looked attractive - especially post panda where in content links from high pr websites are valuable. I run seo campaigns for a large lot of websites & have been noticing my competition creeping past me who are using links from these networks to increase their positions for hard to attain keywords. Has anyone here had experience building links using these types of networks? It looks like they are under google's radar for now & are a great way to get some powerful links to your site. Any thoughts on if google will catch onto these types of links if they are properly protected (limited footprint, revolving links, unique content, etc.)? It's tough not to be at least interested in networks like this b/c of the results they provide.

What link building techniques do you teach to new hires with no SEO experience?
Right now I train my interns and new hires on 5 techniques: 1. Appropriate blog commenting the right way 2. Saving social bookmarks 3. Submitting a website to a directory 4. Publishing articles with links 5. How to build up, maintain and use a Twitter/Facebook/Digg/StumbleUpon profile for SEO Are there some other lower level link building tactics you have tried to teach interns or new hires?
