Short Facebook page name/vanity URL
-
Does anyone know how to go about getting a page name on Facebook of less than 5 characters? I saw Moz was able to claim facebook.com/moz (BTW, congrats on the redesign!), and many other brands also have claimed page names under 5 characters. Has anyone else had success claiming a short page name? Do you have to know the right person at Facebook, or are there other requirements? We have around 35K likes on our page, and our site gets a pretty good amount of traffic. My boss doesn't like any of my ideas that are 5+ characters... she really wants the short URL.
If anyone has any insights on what I need to do (or who I need to talk to at Facebook), I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks for the answer! I guess it depends on what a ton of money is... do you think $5K/mo is enough to qualify? I'll submit the form and find out!
edit: If you've spent >$500 through their self-service platform in the last 30 days, you don't qualify for their 30-day starter program, where you'll get Facebook reps for 30 days. The guy on the phone also explained to me that the shorter vanity URL process is above his pay grade, and there's nothing he can do to help me and no one he could get me in touch with. Oh well!

You will need to get a client manager with Facebook and be prepared to spend a TON of money. Are you currently advertising on Facebook? Generally, Facebook only allows vanity URLs with less than 5 characters for very large brands (Moz, BMW, etc.) that spend a lot of money on Facebook. Good luck!

Why does someone's FB page rank so highly?
Hi Everyone, i recently ran a non-personalized search and saw that this facebook page https://www.facebook.com/tampapersonalinjurylawyers ranked very highly for both "personal injury attorney" and "tampa personal injury attorney." The page has very few likes, and they don't even post that often. From my limited knowledge, that leaves me guessing it's because its a quasi-exact match facebook page, but that can't be right...can it? (Ranking screenshot is attached) Thanks, Ruben GO4N11x

Facebook shares/likes not showing correctly
Hi guys, I've been running searches on Opensiteexplorer for our site www(dot)mobileunlocked(dot)com and am seeing Facebook shares as 21 and 0 Likes. However, we have 2857 people who have liked our page on Facebook. I'm concerned that the search engines also aren't seeing our relationship with our true number so is there anything I can do to make sure this is being picked up? Thanks.

1.5m pageviews / 400k uniques. What are we missing though?
We have built up our site to 1.5m pageviews / 400k uniques per month. But I am sure there are a ton of things that we aren't doing correctly. Please take a look at DenimBlog.com and let me know if there is anything we can do to improve the site. We would love to figure out a way to get to 2m pageviews. Also we would love to have you take a look and check out our google analytics. You can see our 3 years of great data and see if you see anything we aren't capitalizing on. Just drop me your analytics gmail account and I'll add you. Ywo13.png

How do I use Google+ as a page?
A couple of weeks ago I created a Google+ page for my website and you can see the page here: https://plus.google.com/u/0/101532714567190382783/posts?hl=en I was logged in to my account when I did so. I'm now ready to start posting on my page and I cannot for the life of me figure out how. I've tried everything I can find to update that page as the page, but I cannot use Google+ as the page. I have no idea how to post anything. Please help!
