Emails from Moz makes my Outlook unresponsive

Did anybody else notice this? It started a few weeks ago, every time that I receive an email from Moz regarding a Q&.A update and I try to open it, my Outlook becomes unresponsive and I have to restart it.

Thanks for the responses so far I am sorry for the inconvenience this is causing you folks, this is an issue we are aware of and looking at currently. The challenge for this issue is that we can't just simply turn off avatar retrieval since there is no detection for the email client that our customers use, this is an issue that snuck up on us since we simply did not forsee Microsoft Outlook's data retrieval techniques for their recent versions With that said, our engineers are working hard to come up with a fix for this issue by looking possibly changing how we retrieval that data from the cloud. In order to release a fix and not break dependancies else where, we need some additional time to come up with a fix and deploy it in a test environment.
In the meantime, you can view our Q&A email by either using the web client for your perspective outlook accounts or you can actually process a change for your non-outlook email if that's possible. Thanks for the patience our customers have displayed so far, if you like us to give you an update when a fix has been made, you can either email us at [email protected] or I could simply update this thread once a fix has been deployed!

Yes, I noticed this too. The workaround doesn't seem to help in my case as I already had images turned off. Not sure what to make of that?

It looks like the Q&A emails has an image on their outlook tries to pull from our servers, that process can cause outlook to appear frozen/crash if your version of the outlook is queueing the the server (AWS) for the image. Currently you could work around that by turning off images in your settings in outlook. Moz Bar Truncated in Firefox
Hi, I'm using the Moz Bar add-on in Firefox.. but it's suddenly truncated meaning that I can only see half of the toolbar, and I'm unable to use it's features. Does Moz's keyword tool pull data from your IP address?
Does anyone know how Moz's keyword tool pulls their keyword ranks? Do they take it based off of the IP (history and cookies) that is being used? I am trying to find a way to collect keyword data that is neutral and not based off of my previous searches, etc. TIA

SEO MOZ ERROR

Moz Crawl Test: Referrer is sitemap.gz?

I'm looking at a crawl test report, and I'm seeing that most of the pages have the sitemamp.gz file listed as the referrer. As I recall in my other reports the referrer is usually the root domain - unless of course there's a redirect. Does having sitemap.gz as the referrer indicate a problem? If so, what problem does it indicate? Thanks!0 -
Moz analytics not updating
Okay so I was invited to moz analytics. When I received the email I was stoked to get to use the new beta software. My campaigns transferred over ,but when I began to look at the data, it said updating check back in 24 hours or something along those lines. I thought okay that is fine, but to my suprise it has been around four days since then and it still says it is updating. It also shows weekly stats of visits but the number there is definitely wrong. It said I only had around 2,100 but I get more than that daily. Anyone in support that can help? I'm confused on what I can do to fix this issue. I understand it is just a beta ,but other people, from what I have seen, haven't had a similar issue. If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it!
