Moz has a problem connecting to my GA account. But it hasn't changed..?
-
A client recently rebuilt there site. Same URL, same Google Analytics code. When I log into my SEOmoz campaign for this site, I get this message:
It appears there's a problem with our connection to your Google Analytics account. Please go to your Settings page to update your connection.
There is nothing to update however. Nothing should have changed in my settings. Do I need to start over here? Any help is appreciated (I know analytics is working, checked it this morning.....)

Hey Courtney,
I just wanted to update here and let you know I've responded to your email. We'll continue through there so we can discuss your campaigns with respect to your privacy.
For anyone else, this appears to be a one-off authentication issue. I will update this thread if it turns into anything pertinent to the community at large.
Cheers!

Yep, reconnected and still nothing. Guess I will have to submit a help ticket to MOZ.

It seemed to have fixed the problem for me as well, but I believe you get a warning that doing so will cause you to lose historical data. If that matters to you, perhaps the OP should contact Moz for help.

When things changed over from SEOMoz to Moz, I had this problem with one of my campaigns. So I just disconnect and reconnect Google Analytics from my campaign as well and it appeared to have fixed things for me.

I encountered this problem today with a brand new campaign I created yesterday. I double checked the settings page but there was no where to connect or reconnect the connection - so since the campaign was new I just removed the connection and reconnected it - this probably isn't a good option for you however.
I initially thought that it had something to do with me going between Moz Analytics and back and forth to the old Moz Campaign Manager. Perhaps someone from the team can comment?

Unsolved Make Moz reindex the pages for keywords
Hi Moz says we're 18th for a phrase but that's for the page /himonsia-generators because that was the highest ranking page. If you search now for "heavy range generators" we're jumping between 10-12th position but it's for the page /products/generators - which is correct. How can I make Moz "Reindex" the pages?

Moz Insights are raising alarms --Are they useful?
Hi, Moz is alerting us about URLs being too long, titles being too long, and duplicate content. These are mostly for pages with categories of content, or the author bio pages --pages that are included by default with the template we're using in HubSpot. So that there isn't a quick way to make these changes, and anyway the pages are low-value.So my question is, how much are these issues impacting our SEO and domain authority? If these are pages no one visits (like the category and author pages) is there any reason this would be harming our SEO efforts? Thanks!

Duplicate content flagged by Moz that's not actually duplicate content at all
Hi, Moz has flagged a whole lot of pages as dupe content, but I cannot see how they qualify as such.

Not sure if I'm allowed to post actual URLs here....happy to if I can, but I feel certain that the pages are not 90% similar. Has anyone else had this experience? ~Caro1 -

Solving 'duplicate content' for page 2 of X for 1 blog post
Hi to all SEO wizards, For my Dutch blog google-plus-marketing.nl I'm using WordPress Genesis framework 2.0 with news theme pro 2.0 responsive theme. I love the out of the box SEO friendliness and features. One of those features is that it allows for a blog post or page to be divided into several pages. This results in MOZ signaling duplicate titles for all pages after the 1st page. Now I was thinking that a canonical url set to the first page should do the trick for me as I reason that the rank will go the the first page and the rest will not be seen as duplicates. Genesis does some good stuff on it's own and places the following meta tags in the header for the first page. All looks well and my question is about the same meta tags for the 2nd page and higher that I pasted below this one for the 1st page. Meta tags page 1 of X for blog post Meta tags page 2 of X for the same blog post Would it not be better to point the canonical url for page 2 till X to always point to the first page? In this case:

How you can manipulate your MOZ DA
I have become frustrated at MOZ in the last few months, none of my backlinks have made it into the index. Old back links. Long story short, I figured out the issue and I figured out how anyone can manipulate their DA. I wrote a blog post about it here, http://blog.dh42.com/manipulate-moz/

Sitewide links causing problem
Hello, I've had a couple of people look at the backlink profile for nlpca(dot)com and tell me that there were a lot of sitewide links with non-branded anchor text. The spreadsheet is [here](http://thewealthymind.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/anchor-text.xls). Actually, because of our company name, all sitewide links have branded anchor text except for http://www.iepdoc.nl

http://www.ionut-ciurea.com The term "NLP" is not ranking for us, we should be on page 1 or 2. Also, we used to be sitelinked for "NLP California" and aren't anymore. Notice that "nlpca" splits into "nlp" and "ca" for California. Could you look and see if it is just those 2 sites and if all we need to do is contact them to change to branded anchor text. Or if it's something else to get back our rankings for "NLP" and our sitelinks for "NLP California" Thank you0 -
'Too many on-page links': doesn't add up...
Hi All, I'm fairly new to the site, have had a full site crawl and am somewhat confused by a large number of pages (82) reported as showing 'too many on page links'. Mine is a new e-commerce site selling a project management methodology. I have about 80 pages which describe individual templates and contain internal links to additional, related content on the site. The crawl warnings define too many on page links as roughly 100 "on any given page" yet almost none of the pages flagged contain more than 20-30 on links. Any thoughts and ideas about (a) the degree to which this will aeffect my ranking in practice and (b) how to resolve it gratefully received! Thanks in advance, Felix
