Rank Checker and Keyword Difficulty
-
This is the only time I have seen this but the rank checker shows a keyword ranking #2 but the keyword difficulty tool does show the url ranking anywhere on the first page.
I have some ideas as to why this may be happening but I am wondering if anyone actually knows??

Hey Jonathan,
I ran these queries on my end and the keyword ranked 2 in both.

As far as I can see, everything seems to be working properly. If you're still running into this, please send a ticket to help and we'll dig in a bit more for you.
Thanks!
Sam

Thank but I am curious as to why it would rank in rank checker at #2 but not show up on the first page of results in the keyword difficulty tool.
-
Not in any tool. I saw it on Google SERP
-
In keyword difficulty?? or rank checker??
-
I see it on the 4th result. Using Chrome in India. Take note that the results may vary with location and browser.

Keywords Score Meter
Hi Moz, I am using the keywords difficulty tool from your site and find it is quite useful 🙂 I research the community and find the data should be interpreted in the following way. But when I did a quick research for one keyword. The tool bar gives me a data of 22% showing in Yellow and says the keyword is competitive when I hover my mouse. Should this be **Blue **and easy to rank keyword based on the score? Which one should I believe? Sub 30 - (Blue) Low hanging fruit you can take advantage of. 30 - 35 (Green) Fairly easy with good on page and some quality anchored links. 35 - 40 - (Yellow) Will take a bit more work but still in reach may require, good on-site SEO and a solid link profile. 40 - 50 (Orange) Domain authority plays a much more pivotal role so it may take longer to rank for. 50+ (Red) All about resources. Onsite SEO needs to be totally nailed, including internal linking/ topic modelling etc. a strong & diverse link profile with good social signals and ... time. Thanks in advance. Rank Tracker won't update rank
Hi all, Is anybody else having trouble with Rank Tracker this morning? It doesn't want to play with me today. It just hangs when the update rank button is clicked. They all go orange/amber and think about it for a while but never update. Any ideas?

Is a higher or lower score better in keyword ranking
I know this is a weird question, I think I have confused myself with different keyword tools. So if you get a score of 10 for your keyword, should you aim to be closer to 1 or 50?

Rank Tracker page shows only first 50 entries
On the Rank Tracker tool page, http://moz.com/researchtools/rank-tracker, when I hit the Next 25 it works the first time but none of the others. Trying to run a report and since we have more than 50 keywords I have to manually click on them to be checked.
