Hi Chris
There are some suggestions here: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/toolbar-not-showing-on-the-site - including clearing your cookies. So try to clear cookies and do it again.
Try disabling your plugins one by one and see if it shows back up.
Some more ideas here - http://wordpress.org/support/topic/not-showing-toolbar
It could be any number of things, so it might take a little trial and error.
Some ideas here too: http://www.webmechanix.com/wordpress-admin-bar-not-showing-up-fix

Dan,
Thanks man.
"Show Toolbar when viewing site" was checked off. I clicked it off tried it still didn't show up. I clicked it on and still nothing changed. Any idea?
I can see it on the admin panel but when I click on Visit Site from dashboard or manually visit my site it I don't see the toolbar.

Hi Chris
No problem! Go to Users > You Profile > Toolbar and check off the box "Show Toolbar When Viewing Site"

Hey Devanur and Dan,
Thank you so much for responds. I appreciate your advice on title length and etc. I am new to SEO but curious and persistent.
Dan, It's WordPress. I am using Yoast SEO plugin.
I figured it out what was causing it. It was the site title. on Setting > General > Site Title. When I removed it I don't have the duplication problem any more.
Now I got one more Q: I am working on two WordPress sites. on one of them after I log in WordPress I can see the black drop down bar on my actual site too. It has SEO, Security and Text Rich Snippets. It's awesome and very helpful. how can I turn it on my second site?
Thanks y'all
Chris

Christopher
Is this a WordPress site? If so, are you using an SEO plugins? Sometimes the code in the header.php file still causes WordPress to spit out more than one title tag. Let us know what setup you have.

Thanks Devanur
Just wanted to clarify that the new recommended length for titles is roughly 55 characters, or more accurately 512 pixels. Screaming Frog SEO Spider will now measure pixel width.

Hi Chris,
Even before addressing the duplicate page Title issue, these titles seem to be very long and stuffed with phrases and look spammy.
As you know, page Titles are one of the most important on-page optimization factors that can accommodate the target terms as they show up in search results. Its better if it is around 55-60 characters in size including spaces with the target term towards the beginning. If the title has to go beyond 55-60 characters, then the essence should be captured in the first 55-60 characters including spaces as Google truncates anything beyond around 55-60 characters and the search engine user cannot see beyond those ~60 characters in the search results.
Though Google seems to truncate titles in search results based on pixel width(512pixels) and not character limit, in general the 55-50 character limit is a safe bet while writing optimized page titles for your pages.Coming to the duplicate page Titles issue on your Wordpress website, you can use plugins like Yoast SEO or All-in-one SEO to customize the titles. Here is the deal, no two pages on the website should have same Titles or Descriptions. They should be unique by at least a word or few characters. You can have a look at your Google Webmaster Tools account for duplicate page Titles and Descriptions and act accordingly. And of course, Screamingfrog SEO spider is a superb tool for the purpose. Hope these help.
Best regards,
Devanur Rafi

Duplicate page content & titles on the same domain
Hey, My website: http://www.electromarket.co.uk is running Magento Enterprise. The issue I'm running into is that the URLs can be shortened and modified to display different things on the website itself. Here's a few examples. Product Page URL: http://www.electromarket.co.uk/speakers-audio-equipment/dj-pa-speakers/studio-bedroom-monitors/bba0051 OR I could remove everything in the URL and just have: http://www.electromarket.co.uk/bba0051 and the link will work just as well. Now my problem is, these two URL's load the same page title, same content, same everything, because essentially they are the very same web page. But how do I tell Google that? Do I need to tell Google that? And would I benefit by using a redirect for the shorter URLs? Thanks!

Filter Tag Duplicate Content E-Commerce Issue
Hello, I just launched a new site for a client but am seeing some duplicate content issues in the campaign crawl. It has to do with the drill-down, filter "tags" that helps users find the product they are looking for. You can see them in the sidebar here: http://www.ssmd.com/shop/ In my crawl report this is what is showing up as duplicate content (attached image). How do I keep these widgets from generating duplicate content on the site? Also, not sure if it's important or not, but I am using Wordpress, WooCommerce and Yoast's SEO Tool. Any suggestions are appreciated! Screen%20Shot%202012-10-23%20at%202.56.00%20PM.png

Duplicate Title Tag issue due to Shopify CMS
Hi guys, I'm a novice really when it comes to SEO, yet have taken it in house for the next year or so, firstly because I have had my fingers burnt twice...and secondly, to allow me to recoup some of the loss from my prior campaigns. One thing I have noticed on my site (which uses a Shopify E-commerce CMS), is that Shopify duplicates a url for each my products. An example of this is http://www.vidahomes.co.uk/collections/designer-radiators-heating/products/reina-aliano
Technical SEO | | philscott2006
http://www.vidahomes.co.uk/products/reina-aliano Both products provide exactly the same information, yet appear in different ways subject to how the customer finds them. I contacted Shopify to find a fix to this issue when I noticed a high amount of Duplicate Title Tags in my SEO crawl. Their response was as follows. Using a rel canonical link will help prevent duplicate content issues with search engines. All you need to do is add this line of code: **<link rel="canonical" href="{{ canonical_url }}" />** ** before the tag in the theme.liquid file. It’s that simple :)** The theme liquid file basically generates the outer template for the whole site, and is only compromised when over-ruled. This all seems a little too easy for me, so I am hoping whether someone can elaborate as to whether this will work or not, as I'm not entirely sold on their response. I was always under the impression with canonical tags, that they should be added to the header section of the duplicate page in question, which refers back to the original page. The code I have been told to add above implies that the canonical tag would be added to every page in my site so the Google robot would have a hard time in finding anything at all of relevance Thanks in advance for any assistance with this. Should I use a "-", ":", or "|" in the title tag?
Out of habit, I've always put a "-" or dash to separate items in the title tag. However, I've noticed that more and more sites are using either a ":" or "|" in the title. Is there one that is better to use than the other?
