Keyword explorer not working
-
Hi there,
The keyword explorer tool has been malfunctioning for the last week. Moz barely seem to have any data (Search Volume) for any keywords I search for, particularly for suggested keywords. It's rather frustrating as I can't explore any keyword opportunities using the Moz keyword tool... I'm based in the UK BTW. Thanks
I've attached a screenshot as an example.

If you suspect a bug with the data you're seeing, I would recommend writing into [email protected] with details of what you're seeing so that we can investigate! Thanks!

Thanks for your response.
I understand that the keyword tool would not hold data on all keywords but the majority of the keywords illustrated in the picture are so basic. I mean surely the keyword tool should hold data on queries such as "stream on demand" and "stream movies on demand". There rather generic. Possibly a bug with the tool?

Hey there! While our keyword corpus for Keyword Explorer is large, it does not cover all keywords. If you see "no data" reported for a keyword's volume, it means we do not yet have volume information available. The good news is that your Keyword Difficulty score is unaffected by volume data, as it relies on SERP rankings, so you can definitely still find useful data! We are continually adding keyword volumes to our database, so we may have data for these keywords in the future. I hope that helps clarify things.

Keyword Explorer shows wrong data
Hi all, Trying to figure out what is going on with the keyword explorer. All searches are made in the EN-US region. Example keyword: app localization
Moz Bar | | Fred.Visnevsky
Moz shows me that volume is 0-10, which is Wrong. Actual volumes are in thousands per month. Another keyword - translation service
Moz shows the volume as 2480 when actual volumes are in tens of thousands. I can give many more examples like this - what is going on? NZGzX2p.png vzIwMoe.png1 -
Working with longtail
How do I work with 'longTails' in Moz? how do I get correct keyword and tails do I write 'keyword and tail' or could I write 'tail and keyword' - I think of order how many words could be used? Three: 'Keyword/Head' and 'modifier' and 'tail'? what do competition do? could I set longTail phrase/words as normal keywords to see ranking in compartion to competition? etc.

Utilizing the Moz Location in keywords vs including the location in the actual keyword phrase
I've searched the Moz blog as well as Q&A forums - but I specifically have a question about utilizing the Moz Location in keywords vs including the location in the actual keyword phrase. I've done both and get different rankings. For instance, I have "it company" with the Location set to Corpus Christi, Texas and our rank is #3. Then I also have "it company corpus christi" with the Location set to Corpus Christi, Texas and our rank is #6. Additionally, I threw in "it company corpus christi" with the Location set to National and our rank is #7. What is the best practice and what are the determining factors for the differences? Thank you in advance!

Why is Volume Data Vastly Different in Keyword Explorer Lists than Manual Search?
I have created a number of lists in the new Keyword Explorer tool, and finally had a chance to put them into my company documents. I noticed a drop in some keywords which I assumed (rightly so) was incorrect. For example, in my "list" I have the keyword mixed media. When I export the CSV it shows a volume range of 0-10. If I type just that keyword into the explorer I get a range of 4.3k-6.5k for mixed media, which is where I would expect it to be. (https://mza.seotoolninja.com/explorer/overview?locale=en-US&q=mixed+media) This issue happened to about a dozen keywords at least in my list, and most of them are that major of a difference. Any idea what is going on here?

Keyword Explorer Stuck
Is anyone else experiencing troubles with Keyword Explorer? We have several keyword lists and they keep getting frozen on "Gathering Metrics" for days, even if we had results for those particular keywords previously. Just curious to know if this is a pervasive problem and if there's some kind of an easy fix.

New video section within keyword research
I notice there is a new section to the top left of the search page referring to videos. What's this? Is it to research our own video performance? If so, how do I use it?

Keyword Difficulty and Analysis
Hi There - I'm using MOZ's keyword difficulty and analysis tool to understand the difficulty of a given set of keywords. To my surprise- I appear number 1 on Google, for a keyword with a difficulty of 36% On the other hand, for few other with difficulty in range 16% - 25%, I appear on the second or third page. In regards to page optimization, and back links i'm far better off on these ones than the other one (with 36%). Any reason why that would be the case ? PS: I've already analyzed the possibility of DA or PA, but it doesn't make sense. As the latter ones always scores better. Thanks, K

Why moz does not update actual keyword possition
I managed to get first place on google by keyword: vervo.lv kravu pārvadājumi in google.lv (it is in first place all this week) But in moz reports it shows just second position? I added so far about 100 keywords to monitor so if it shows incorrect this one how can i trust to other keyword results. Report says it updated on 3. september and it already was in first place. I really need to monitor keywords but if it does not show actual positions it is useless.
