Moz says my pages don't have rel="canonical" but they do
-
Hi, I've just had my initial report from Moz and it says my pages are missing rel="canonical". I'm using the Yoast SEO plugin on my WordPress site which adds these automatically. I have also checked the source code for my pages and can see rel="canonical". What has gone wrong please?

Hi again, Katie!
The reason you're seeing the "No Rel=Canonical" tag Insight is that we weren't able to crawl the homepage for this site, https://barn2.co.uk. We got an 804 crawl attempt error for that page, meaning that we weren't able to crawl it to see that canonical tag.
If you can see the canonical tags on your site and you know they're there, trust the evidence! Our tools just ran into some issues crawling your site that meant that we couldn't read that tag.
I hope this helps explain! If you have more questions, feel free to reach out to us at [email protected] and we'll get your questions all squared away.

Do I have to manually mark as 'fixed' or 'Ignore' manually on Metadata Issues when completed?
When I have amended the missing description Metadata issue on an individual page do I have to manually mark as 'fixed' or 'Ignore'? I have attended to several pages regards Missing Description Metadata Issues and not manually marked them as fixed. However they still appear in metadata missing description issues after a second on demand crawl? Will they continue to appear until I manually mark them as fixed?

Can Moz Monitor a JS Site?
We are building a new site that, on the blog landing page, uses JS to populate the individual blog article links on the page. The links are not viewable in the page source, but do appear once the page fully renders. After running an on-demand crawl of the site (in QA...not indexed yet), it appears that Moz isn't indexing these pages, and it also isn't reading other page elements that load later (like an H1 that is rendered in JS but not in page source). Are we going to be able to use Moz to track this site? Is there some setting to help?

Standard Syntax in robots.txt doesn't prevent Moz bot from crawling
A client is getting many false positive site crawl errors for things like duplicate titles and duplicate content on pages that include /tag/ in the URL. An example is https://needquest.com/place_tag/autism-spectrum-disorder/page/4/ To resolve this we have set up a disallow statement in the robots.txt file that says

Disallow: /page/ For some reason this appears not to work, as the site crawl errors continue to list pages like this. Does anyone understand why that would be and what we need to do to properly disallow crawling these pages?0 -
Moz profile
Hi, For some reason when I try and add my site's link in my Moz profile I keep getting an error. My site an SSL so I used https instead of http. I tried again without the 's' as my domain redirects to the https version, but this didn't work. Then I tried without http or https and this didn't work either. Why does Moz hate my site? It's actually really good!!! Thanks, Amelia

Fastest way to set up Moz to produce a list of easy-to-rank for keyword opps
I've used Hubspot's keyword tool previous to MOZ, and I know that they import data generated from MOZ into their tool... but I find it a much more convoluted process using Moz's more robust system. ALL I want is to dump in a long list of keyword possibilities, then see where we can easily rank for these terms, especially against our local competitors. How do I set this up???? It's not as self-explanitory as Hubspot! Thanks!!!
