Authorship Picture Appearing and Disappearing every couple weekds

My Google+ author picture has been showing up next to Homepage results for my corporate website for a couple weeks then disappears for some time before coming back. Why is this happening and is there a way to rectify this issue to the picture stays visible in SERP's?

This is really to be expected. The authorship is in beta and their is no guarantee that google will use your picture or that you will be included in the beta. That being said, my best guess is that they do this so they can monitor click thru rate. Every site I manage has this problem, so I wouldn't fret.

Keyword appearing on almost every slug of product pages = over-optimizatio
Hello all, I have an online store, let's say for example I sell forks of all kinds and colors. So naturally, I have 'product category' pages with titles and slugs like: Big forks
On-Page Optimization | | Veptune
Small forks
Plastic forks
Red fork
etc.. And plenty of product pages with slugs and H1 like: Small red fork
Large plastic fork
18th-century fork
etc... Some category pages are well-ranked, others are not, the same goes for product pages. The problem is that for the main keyword, 'fork' (exact query in the search console), my site is completely absent. Google should logically have referenced my homepage (which has links to all categories) for this main keyword. I have also optimized the page for it, without overdoing it. I wonder if it's not because I have a lot of pages with 'fork' in the slug, and perhaps Google thinks it's too much (even though it's logical for this word to be present in all product pages because it's an essential word to describe the product). I wonder if I should not modify half of my product pages to remove the word 'fork' from the slug...(only from the slug, without touching the H1 because removing the word 'fork' would remove its meaning). Do you have any experiences with this kind of issue? I wouldn't ask the question if my homepage was behind the competition, but it's completely absent. Thanks0 -
Brand Appearing in the Meta tilte by default
Hi All, Has anyone experienced the home page meta title indexed with their Brand coming up first before their actual Meta title? I know google overrides the meta title sometimes when the title is not relevant, I understand that. This just started happening 6 months ago. I thought I would leave it to see if it get corrected. but no luck! Any suggestions? Many thanks

Too many links per page? Double navigation on every page...
I have a client with navigation across the top of each page plus the same nav links in a sidebar on every page. Can that duplication (or the sheer number of links) on each page have a negative ranking factor?

My main domain is missing in google, subdomain appears instead.

Suddenly it disappears and the link "www.example.com/index/" appears instead. Why Isn't Google Authorship Showing My Picture?
I have several clients and the Google Authorship images used display in the search results for all of them. About a month ago all of the images disappeared, however it still displays "by <name>, indicating that Google Authorship is working -- it just doesn't show the image (see screenshots). The image follows the guidelines, and we've got the rel author tag in place, with a link back to Google. </name> When I use the Google Structured Data Testing Tool it shows that authorship is properly functioning. I'm completely stumped. Does anyone have any ideas why this may not be working? Google Authorship v Product Rich Snippets
Hi Folks, So ,we have a website that we have fully configured with Product Rich Snippets (its an e-Commerce Store), including product image and the usual. We are considering verifying the Authorship of the website for the client as they will have an extensive blog. My question is, if we verify the Authorship of the website, which will Google use in terms of the rich snippet photograph in the SERP, will it use the product image as detailed in the Product Rich Snippet or us the company logo we have on the Google Plus page (Verified Author) Or is it a case we only add the rel:author tag to pages without products. What is the best way to make use of internal anchor text links without appearing to be a 'spammy' webpage?
I've recently been spending some time going through all the content on our website, henstuff.com, adding internal anchor text links to product copy with the link following back to the product's generic catagory. I've been focusing on the search term 'hen party accessories', but have also been using 'hen do accessories' and 'hen night accessories'. I know that internal linking has value when it comes to SEO and rankings, but was keen to find roughly at what point usage of a certain search term for anchor links is seen as spam by the engines. Is there a certain formula to follow when it comes to internal anchor text links? Will duplicate content supplied from a hotel provider damage my website, or simply just the pages that it appears on?
Hi, I currently have a lot of hotel listings pages with little or no content, as I'm scared that if I place duplicate hotel descriptions on the pages then Google will stop ranking the page. I've found that having descriptions of some kind do help conversion significantly, so I'm considering generating unique hotel descriptions on each main page (page 1 in each set of listings) - these are the pages that Google indexes. On subsequent pages (page 2, page 3 etc.) I'm thinking about resorting to displaying the duplicate affiliate content hotel descriptions - these pages can be crawled but are set to noindex. My question is, do you think this is likely to have an effect on my website in the rankings, and as a result push my primary pages (that contain 100% unique content) down in SERPs. Thanks Mike
