Our brand has relatively bad reputation locally and I was wondering how moz can help to improve this.

Improving brand reputation is crucial for building trust, attracting customers, and maintaining long-term success. Here are some strategies you can employ to enhance your brand's reputation:
-
Deliver exceptional products or services: Consistently provide high-quality products or services that meet or exceed customer expectations. Focus on delivering value, addressing customer needs, and resolving any issues promptly and effectively.
-
Prioritize customer satisfaction: Make customer satisfaction a top priority. Listen to your customers, seek feedback, and take their opinions into account when making business decisions. Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and empathetic manner, showing that you value their feedback and are committed to their satisfaction.
-
Build strong relationships: Foster positive relationships with your customers, employees, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Engage with them through various channels, such as social media, email newsletters, or in-person events. Actively participate in conversations, address concerns, and show appreciation for their support.
-
Develop a strong brand identity: Clearly define your brand's values, mission, and unique selling proposition. Consistently communicate your brand message across all touchpoints, including your website, social media, advertising, and customer interactions. Build a brand that resonates with your target audience and differentiates you from competitors.
-
Maintain transparency and integrity: Operate your business with honesty and integrity. Be transparent in your communication and actions. Establish clear policies, deliver on your promises, and admit and rectify any mistakes or shortcomings. Building trust requires consistency and authenticity.
-
Leverage customer testimonials and positive reviews: Encourage satisfied customers to leave reviews or provide testimonials about their positive experiences with your brand. Display these testimonials on your website, social media platforms, or other marketing materials. Positive reviews and endorsements from real customers can enhance your credibility and reputation.
-
Engage in social responsibility: Contribute to your community and engage in socially responsible initiatives. Support causes that align with your brand values, whether it's through donations, volunteering, or environmentally friendly practices. Demonstrating your commitment to making a positive impact can enhance your brand reputation.
-
Monitor and address online reputation: Regularly monitor online platforms, including social media, review sites, and forums, for mentions of your brand. Respond promptly to both positive and negative feedback. Address any negative comments or complaints professionally and try to resolve issues publicly whenever possible. Show that you genuinely care about customer satisfaction and are actively working to address concerns.
-
Invest in marketing and PR: Allocate resources to promote your brand through various marketing and public relations efforts. Create compelling content, engage with influencers, participate in industry events, and leverage media opportunities to enhance your brand's visibility and reputation.
Remember, building a strong brand reputation takes time and consistent effort. It requires a customer-centric approach and a commitment to delivering value and maintaining trust. By focusing on these strategies, you can enhance your brand reputation and cultivate a positive perception among your target audience.

Unsolved Our SEO agency has substantially moved back within Google’s SERP’s, but we can't figure out why.
We have followed the guidance of [Google EEAT] and Google’s Webmaster Guidelines. However, our [Cardiff SEO company] has moved back substantially in the SERPs; the links and content marketing are good, yet we substantially back on Google’s SERPS by over 30 places and we have no clue why. We don’t know why; we are an SEO agency with over ten years of SEO experience, we never have had this happen to us, and can't figure out why our business has moved back to Google. If there are any SEO experts here, we would appreciate your help. We called Walsh and Partners, we are a white hat seo company based in Cardiff, South Wales, any help we would be so grateful.

How to optimize landing pages for local search?
I'm trying to understand how to optimize landing pages to appear in local search. For example, if someone in Chicago searches for "plumber", Yelp has a page "Top 10 Plumbers in Chicago." They are generating these pages for numerous business types and cities. I can't see anything on the page or metadata that indicates a geographic location or business type. What optimizations are they doing to get Google to know that it's a page for a specific city and type of business?

Branded vs Non Branded Homepage?
So I understand that I'm never going to get google review stars appearing on my homepage. The only term I really want my homepage to rank for is the term 'dentist liverpool'. This figures. But what I'm seeing from my google analytics is that I can rank pretty much any keyword really well (with stars and a great serp entry) except my homepage. Which is languishing at position 3-5. Now I made some observations from the data and the only people who are landing on my homepage are branded searches. So people who are searching for us. Why cannot I just make a page and optimise it for 'dentist Liverpool' and go for the number one spot? That way all the branded people can end up on the homepage and everyone else looking for a dentist in Liverpool can land on my highly optimised 'dentist Liverpool' page? I think I might be missing something really obvious here and know i'd need to de-optimise the home page. But I find it so easy to rank for all sorts of keywords but our homepage (because it has everything on it) is just not getting to position one. It's not specific enough to that keyword. Also how awesome would it be to have the only serp entry with 250 google reviews and stars and sitelinks and all that cool stuff?

Should I change my domain/brand name?
Hello everyone, Thanks for stopping by to check out my problem and to help shed light on it for myself and hopefully others in a similar boat! As Ive gotten more into this process of SEO and my online business (with the great help of many community members here, many thanks everyone!) I have begun building a wordpress site in prep of canceling my squarespace site (Im a Kauai based wedding photographer) for more SEO value, faster page load time, and more data and plugins to the site. During this time however Ive noticed that my business www.balihaiphoto.com has a lot of confusion/search results and content I think may be leading potential clients in other directions, or even google down the wrong track of what my business is. The reason I suspect this is a restaurant that hosts a lot of weddings, and in turn, wedding photographers blogging about the location (the venue is called Bali Hai and its not located in Hawaii) as well as a reality group here and that Im getting occasional hits on my site for "Bali Wedding photographer" when I'd like to be known/indexed and ranked for "Kauai wedding photographer" and am working on a lot of long tail content to add to the site once its finished up. I feel like Im answering my own question slightly as I feel that I need to change the domain and name to something new, unique, and not attached to anything other than Kauai and Hawaii, but dont know exactly why that may be the best thing to do, or, if it even is the best thing to do? I greatly appreciate any help or elaboration as to why or why not a domain and brand name change would be helpful or not. Many thanks everyone and Aloha! -Jon Gibb

How to market locally for a national brand?
I just got a new client that offers travel information for cities throughout the US and Canada. They have a specific page set up for most locations. I want to promote each page for that community, but the task is very daunting, as you could imagine. It's almost like having a separate client in each city. I've optimized the title tags, meta descriptions, content and so forth, but that's not enough. Engaging in a backlinking and social media strategy for each location is insane - I wouldn't have enough time in the day. Looking for off page promotional ideas that can be scaled nationally. Does anyone have a similar situation with a national brand, or any ideas you'd like to share?
