Who else has inaccurate reporting? SEO Moz BUG
-
I have been in contact with support to little avail no timelines for the correction kind of leaves me out in the cold. I have loved SEOmoz in the past but this recent bug is costing me time and money. Can someone please tell me how they are working around all these issues in rank reporting and a zero accuracy rate on page report cards?
- bugs are holding up my SEO efforts. SEOmoz has been in touch but has provided no timelines. My programs are suffering. I found inaccuracy in each report metric and now have very little faith that this is going to be corrected in a timely fashion. I rely greatly on the wonderful tools SEOmoz provides and now I am flying blind. Who else has been hit by the bug? And, what has support done for you to help?

Our ranking report super - swayed a couple weeks ago (all rankings dropped, were not what i was seeing in manual checks) but it seems to have corrected itself on the next week's report.
I'm not having issues with the page report cards.

Why Do Different Tools Report 404s Differently?
Hi Mozers, How come Moz reports just six 404 errors, whereas Google Search Console reports 250 and Screaming Frog only reports a dozen? It seems to me that these results are all over the place. Shouldn't these reports be more consistent? I do understand that Search Console includes historical data and that URLs or issues need to be "marked as fixed" in order for them to go away, however, even if I do this, Google ends up reporting far more errors than anything else. Do 404s reported by Moz and Screaming Frog NOT include external links? It seems to me that this could be partially responsible for the issue. Also, is there a way to efficiently track the source of the 404s besides clicking on "Linked From" within Search Console 250 times? I was looking for something like this is Moz or SF but no luck. Any help is appreciated. Thanksabunch!

Why is the weekly rankings report often inaccurate?
Does anybody else notice that the Moz weekly rankings report are often inaccurate? Many times it says a keyword (or many keywords) fell out of the top 50, although when I manually check the keyword in a Google search, it still shows that those keywords are ranking in the top 10. I've done these manual searches with personalized search settings turned off, as well as from a completely unbiased computer. Why is this happening? Does anybody have any suggestions? Thank you!

How to set the crawler or reports to ignore
I have a mobile version of a site with a URL string that disables the mobile view on smartphones (view full site), string is like this example.com/page-name.html?mobile=off I need the seomoz pro reports or crawler to ignore it because the crawler visits both versions of the site then reports them as duplicate content. Is there a setting page I haven't visited yet that will set this?

On page report card - small niggle
I've been carefully making page corrections and trying to get each age in line with SEOMoz recommendations. However, under the section marked Optional (and I realise I could just ignore it!) it tells me to "Avoid Using Meta Keywords Tag". However, none of the pages have any meta keywords in. They have a meta description, but no keywords. I have also removed any global keywords. Is the software wrong, or are there some more hidden somewhere.... website page is http://www.forktruckexpress.com/Hire/rossendale-forklift-hire.html Thanks in advance

Link Assistant SEO Tool - Any Others?
I have the most boring copier service website, clients cool, concept is really boring; Well I am looking to generate this client some link back juice, cause this guy is struggling for traffic, and I am am struggling to generate a buzz about copier services?? Fortunately, it's only local, so that helps me with testing my localization campaigning. 🙂 Any opinions on this software? http://www.link-assistant.com Do you know of some better "Back Linking Software? I was considering buying it. But once I go to purchase it, I second guess myself; "It just looks shady, and the perpetual up-sale, turns me off.". I really just value the MOZer communities opinions! and I want to see what the community thinks of the above company, and if ya heard anything good, or bad. The Demo seems legit as hell!

What Does the SEO Moz Crawler Take Into account?
I'm working on a page that has links from some decent pages pointing to it, but a lot of them are low-value blog comments. So I'm pretty sure that its Page Authority is higher than it should be, compared to where it's ranking. Does SEO moz take the type of link into account? i.e. if it's a footer link, blog comment, or forum signature link; this should carry less weight than a link in the content of the page itself, as it does with Google.
