Optimal Copy Length
-
We have a separate page for every product of every bank e.g. http://www.imoney.my/home-loan/citibank The idea is to make it rank for the name of the keyword + the name of the bank.
Is the copy long enough for that to happen? We've written one paragraph of unique copy about bank's product information. Shall we write more, or it is enough?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if you're trying to rank for "citibank home loans", you're not going to be able to make that happen in the next couple years unless you have an outstanding promotional strategy for your domain.
If you look at the SERP for "citibank home loans", here are the ranking domains I see (it's a 7 pack result page for me):
- citimortgage.com
- online.citibank.com
- online.citibank.com
- online.citibank.com
- marketwatch.com (QDF News result from Spring 2013)
- linked.com/company/citibank/.... (product page)
- linkedin.com/title/home+lending+specialist/at-citibank/
You're not going to beat any of those results. You should start looking for non-branding or longer tail queries where you have a better shot at getting into the results.
The design of your page is decent overall, and the copy length looks sufficient to rank for other search terms. I'd worry about identifying an easier term to rank for, and getting your Domain Authority much higher and pushing internal links to these landing pages. Longer term that's probably your best shot as far as branded queries for bank loans are concerned.

To rank well for a keyword + brand that is not your own is usually going to be tough. To be honest I doubt one paragraph is going to be enough. You should probably brainstorm about why people searching for this would find value in your page (for their search/intent). Once you have answered this question then you will be on the way to knowing what content you should add. Hope that makes sense

Could be enough. Maybe add the name in one of the
as well. Good change to rank I think (didn't check the competition).

Not reducing page speed is my main priority here. *Bonus points if you can help with SEO techniques and the slider.

Should I spend time going back and optimizing old blog posts for SEO or just write new posts?
The site I manage (Boutique Estate Law Firm) has at least 350 old blog post archived that were not well optimized for SEO. Would it be valuable to go through and optimize those old posts or just write new optimized posts even though they are on the same subjects? My boss loves to churn out 300 word posts.

Looking for a Tool to Assist with Site Optimization. Does it already exist?
I'm looking for a tool that can help us quickly identify web pages on a client's site that contain a selected keyword phrase.
On-Page Optimization | | RosemaryB
I would like to enter say 100 keyword phrases and the client's URL and receive a report that shows - for each keyword - the client URLs that contained that exact phrase. Does anyone know of a tool that can do this? Thank you, Rosemary Brisco0 -

I am looking for some ideas on what best practices are for pages that contain lists similar to this page: http://www.backcountrysecrets.com/outdoor-sport/15/places-to-swim-and-swimming-holes.aspx Is it better to break up the list into seperate pages of 25 listings or keep everything on the same page?
