Export all links on page with anchor text
-
As the question says really. Is there a tool that will export all the links on a page and anchor text related to those links into Excel?
Thanks.

Just seen another post on here that references this tool - which uses the SEOMoz API http://seogadget.co.uk/anchor-text-tool/index.php - Will export straight to a CSV too. Looks pretty good!

Indeed Ryan! If it helps I just stood up in the office and clapped and cheered Xenu's efforts quite loudly - thankfully my colleagues know me well enough to ignore my 'quirky' behaviour ;o)

Thanks Bazza! We should really be giving Xenu big thumbs up as his tool has been a huge help for years and years. Always happy to spread the word.

Okay. I'm a convert! Looks quick and simple! Works well - just export to a TAB separated file and open with excel. I was so impresed I voted for this one instead of my recommendation! :O)

Thanks guys, ill have a look at your tools and let you know which works best!

Take a look at the free Firefox Addon DownThemAll https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/downthemall/

Xenu's Link Sleuth can help you with this. Available here: http://home.snafu.de/tilman/xenulink.html

Moz Rank & Trust | Page vs Sub vs Root
Hey guys, Just need some help deciphering my OSE link metrics for my site theskimonster.com . Page MozRank: 5.51 (highest among my competitors) Page MozTrust: 5.74 (#2 among my competitors) Subdomain MozRank: 4.19 (#4 among my competitors) Subdomain MozTrust: 4.63 (#2 among my competitors) Root Domain MozRank: 3.89 (#5 or last place among competitors) Root Domain MozRank: 4.1 (#5 or last place among competitors) What does this mean? What am I doing right, what do I need to do?

Page Rank - logarithmic or exponential
Possibly a really stupid question. Is Page Rank logarithmic or exponential? I've seen a lot of people talking about Page Rank saying it's logarithmic but when they describe it they're actually talking about an exponential scale. (Apologies if I'm showing a basic misunderstanding in mathematical knowledge - I studied Drama)

In-Page Analytics
Hey folks, In the in-page analytics section of GA I am wanting to get the % of clicks on a particular link over a large selection of dates. Does anyone know how to pull the data without having to do it day by day? Ideally I want to pull it all at once. There might of course be other ways to do this, if so please let me know. Thanks for your help. Cheers,

Nofollow page is being reported as a landing page for organic search in Google Analytics
One of my client's websites includes a series of pages for an enrollment process. All of these pages are blocked by robots.txt. In Google Analytics these pages are showing data as landing pages for organic search traffic, and have been for quite some time. There was recently a surge of organic search traffic landing on one of these pages, coming from multiple search engines. The pages appear to be blocked and I'm not finding any of them in the search results for the keywords that are being reported in GA or by searching for the url. Does anyone have any insights into why this might be happening?

How to locate a back link
GWT says that a large popular site with DA 70 has a link to one of our recently published pages. Is it possible to find the location of that link using GWT? I don't think the SEOmoz tools can find it, perhaps because our page is too new. Best,

Linking domain dropped followed by significant decrease in Domain Authority
A relatively high ranking site disappeared from the linking root domains of a client site, and the site dropped significantly in domain rank, authority, and trust. Oddly enough, traffic is almost double the previous week, and search results for keywords remain strong. I checked OSE and the linking domain is not listed. There are also several other linking root domains that have never shown in the domain analysis, but we'll leave those for a later topic. I visited the linking root domain that disappeared from the analysis and found everything to be in order. The site is a major local forum with a relatively high domain authority. All links are still there, and there hasn't been any change to the site as far as links are treated according to the owner. The only thing that has changed since the last site analysis is an event campaign ran with unpaid ads posted throughout the forum. The site being analyzed is a catering company that is cooperating with the forum owner and local bar to host a local celebratory event. Of course I'll wait for the next indexing to see if things change, but what could be going on here? This is more of an SEOmoz question, as we're talking over 10 point deduction in domain authority, although search results are still strong.
