Is there anything similar to Moz Local in London, UK? I need to run citations for 2 local businesses 'but' and want to use 'trusted' platforms.
Please share you experiences and how this has helped your clients.
Thank you
Gary Victory

Pixus - I'm with you on this! May I ask if you use a particular citation platform here is the UK? If so, do you use it for your own business to promote your services, or for your clients, and what impact has this had? I'm really interested to find out more.

I'd love to see it in the UK but remember Moz is based in the US and the local works differently there, not to mention they got in touch with all of the local places to get it working it can take time and lots of effort to do but I'm sure Roger is working his way over here at some point.

I too would like to see a MOZ Local in the UK - come on guys, come to the UK!
-
They have a package called "Citation Burst." This looks great but, we all know directory submissions can have an extremely negative impact.
Has anyone used Bright Local for Citation Burst, please let me know. I'll ask the community also.
Thanks again.
-
Thank you. I'll give this a shot.

Hi Gary,
We're sorry Moz Local just isn't available in the UK at this time, but Bright Local is very highly thought of. Hope you'll give them a look.

Thanks Chris
Yes it's a shame they've not rolled it out over here yet.

Local News or National News backlinking?
Hello guys, I got an two offers, one from national newspaper and one from local newspaper (both online and printed editions, but here is online edition relevant.) to write about my company because we had some remarkable results in our niche. They would write a text about 2.000 words long and put a backlink to my website with the anchor text of my choice! The national newspaper has DA 49, whereas local newspaper has DA 39 but comes from the same city where we are based and writes just about the specific city and district in this city. Which one would you choose for your SEO?

Local Landing Page Optimization and Multiple GMB Listings
Hello, We’re building out a site for our business that has close to 100 office locations in different cities. Many of these are ‘partner brands’ that we have acquired under our brand. Similar to a franchise model. We want to be able to help users find offices near their location. Each office will have it’s own landing page with a physical address and contact information. We know we’ll have to build out unique copy and markup customized to the office/location. We’ve already read through https://mza.seotoolninja.com/blog/overcoming-your-fear-of-local-landing-pages as well. We’re also considering ‘silos’ to build out pages for each location. To preserve authority and avoid cannibalization; our thought was having each location as sub-folders off of our domain (i.e. domain.com/locations/Partner#1/). The other option would be using a sub-domain (i.e. Partner.Domain.com/) which we noticed competitors doing and treating each sub-domain as their own independent site. Is all of the above the correct strategy? Any further suggestions? Should we fill out a separate GMB for each office and should they all use the same brand name? (in other words “BrandA” vs. “BrandA” - Brooklyn Office). In addition to GMB; would each location need local listings created (also all under the same name)? Any help or insight would be very much appreciated. Looking forward to hearing from all of you! Thank you in advance. Best,

Had a local SEO client completely drop off in all rankings...?
Hey everyone! I wanted to ask the Moz community on what I should be on the lookout for in this situation; I have a local SEO client, an orthopedic clinic, who out of nowhere completely dropped off the map. Their Search Visibility is now at .001%. I really have no idea what would have caused this... I have dozens of other local SEO clients and have never seen this before.

Are there any services like Moz Local for Canada?
Was wondering if there would be a way to simplify getting NAP data out there and consistent for a business in Canada like we have here in the US with Moz Local? If not, are there specific sites besides Yellow Pages Group and the government site (ic.gc.ca) to submit their information? I'm sure Yelp, Facebook, Google, Bing, Yahoo, and all the usuals...but where else?

Google Local Business SEO
Under "http://moz.com/blog/everybody-needs-local-seo" Q) There is a paragraph saying "If your business has multiple locations, you should have a unique location landing page for each Google Plus Local listing." Does it mean that for each of my shop (location), i have to create an brand new google plus page for it? Q) There is a paragraph saying "you're dealing with a single location, then we're talking about your home page - but these elements should also be locally optimized on product and services pages. City and state in the title tag. City and state in H1 heading" For example, if my country is australia, i have to create a page within my website and the it is optimised to the keywords "Gold Coast | Australia" in my 'product and services page'?

Help Understanding Localized Search Results/Ranks
I have a Moz campaign for duvalasphalt.com where I want to track a non-location specific keyword, then variations that include a location. For example, here are the rankings for a keyword and the 2 location variations. asphalt company (not in top 50) asphalt company jacksonville (ranked 6) jacksonville asphalt company (ranked 6) When I do a search for just "asphalt company," I see duvalasphalt.com ranked 11. Why does Moz not show an 11 rank? I understand Google tries to show me location specific results even if my search is not location specific. Is Moz's ranking crawler searching from a location where Google will not serve Jacksonville-related results? It would make sense, but how can I get Moz to capture the rankings that are important to my client? The rankings we want to see are the results made from in and around Jacksonville. Any help here is appreciated!
