We need your expertise! Do you have a tool hack or trick you use with Moz Pro?
-
Hey friends!
We're looking for any tricks and tips you have for other people using Pro. Everyone has their own way of doing things. We'd love to see if you have any hacks you've created. You can send over just a screenshot, or a blog post, or anything you've got!
Here are a couple examples:
[blog post] Did you know you can use OSE's anchor text export to see if you are getting setup for a penguin penalty? This is a blog post about it: http://moz.com/academy/google-penguin-and-you
[screenshot] Did you know you can get all your keyword ranking historical data by clicking this one little button? http://i.imgur.com/l4KxqBt.jpg
Do you have anything you'd like to add? We're hoping to help spread these to others to help people utilize the tools to their potential.
Thanks!

A couple tips for Q&A....
-
Use the "Email Updates" button for any question that is interesting or that might be useful to you in the future. That button will cause a copy of all replies to that question to be emailed to you. That allows you to see all of the replies that occur and learn a lot from other members. This is one of the fastest ways to improve your skills and knowledge and learn who can answer the questions where you need help. http://moz.com/community/q/how-to-learn-a-lot-from-moz-q-a
-
Visit Q&A even when you don't have a question. Somebody is probably posting interesting stuff so pop in a couple times a week when you need a break. If you see a question that you can answer, share your expertise. If you do that regularly, people will remember that you are a helpful person..... and when you ask for help you will probably get GOLD in return.
3) Pay attention when somebody comes into Q&A cryin' and says... "Wah! My traffic dropped." That's how you learn about the trip wires that Google has set out to catch weasels and innocent people too.
- If you ask a question and get two replies. The suggestion that requires the most work is probably the better one.

Tools for Monitoring Hundreds to Thousands of Keywords and Rankings
Hi All, I am in process of doing and SEO overhaul for our five global sites in: US, UK, Canada, Sweden, France I'd like to track hundreds of keywords and rankings per site - I'm talking at least 300-400 keywords each site. Each site has its own country domain with both www and www2 domains. So, I need a keyword tool that will let me track massive amounts of keywords. I know that the Moz Pro tool helps, but we only have 350 keywords on this account. I think on this. Any suggestions on something reliable that will provide good data? I'm sure I can get some budget to purchase something, but I also can't spend too too much money. I'm not looking for a massive analytics package. Right now, I'm concerned mainly with our keyword rankings Thanks in advance!

Could SEOMOZ make a tool thats connected directly to Webmaster Tools?
Could SEOMOZ make a tool that Crawls Internal Links that's connected (or crawls) directly from Webmaster Tools? (So link metrics on our domains would get updates more often) This would eliminate the cost of crawling the entire internet. I hate having to wait a month to see updates on my domain metrics and links. I would like to see updates regularly on my own domain. I understand you can just look at Webmaster tools to see your latest links but they don't have any link metrics. So it’s difficult to see your best links. If this already exists please refer me? Otherwise please show your support for this being developed?

How do you use SEOmoz
I'm a newbie here. I've got a week left on my free trail. I really like SEOmoz, I might even love it a bit. 🙂 I'm trying to justify the cost. I usually don't spend money on my Internet Marketing. I've done it through finally buying some tools to help me get there. Massive change in the last year. I'm a long ways from getting rich YET though. 🙂 I've gone from $30 a month to $1000 a month in a year. So I think I'm on my way now. I'm trying to figure out why I should continue my subscription and actually start paying for it. If I were a developer I can certainly see why but the cost would so go way up. 🙂 I'm in the lowest level package with only five websites. I have 10 I'm working on. I know that's probably five to many at one time. I'm having a little trouble justifying the cost at this time. At my income level $100 a month is significant. I can see the value of seeing where my competition has backlinks. Sometimes my competition is Cnet. haha Well, I can beat them on a specific page at times. Hmm, can I search the URL list for links? Perhaps i can if I export it. That didn't occur to me. Now that could be of use if I can find my keywords. If their link is on Amazon though, I'm going to have trouble getting a link there. 🙂 Maybe I should work on less competitive links but I made good money last month with one page that was beating them. WAS beating them. How do you use SEOmoz? How do you justify the cost, that is offset the expense. If its not making me money i don't see the value. I can get a lot of this information for free but it sure is easier to get it here. Which saves me time. And the other tool i use isn't that good and not always reliable and slow. I've got a week left on my free trail. I had decided to let it go but now I'm reconsidering. $100 is a lot for me and I need to spend more on SEO outsourcing. I wonder if I wouldn't be better off dropping it for a while and then coming back. This certainly isn't mean to be a critical post at all. I'm looking for reasons to stay and make better use of it. Thanks for the thoughts, Rusty

Seo Moz for Clients
One thing I recently pondered following the introduction of logos on reports bringing that level of personalisation for the customers is ... would it be somehow possible to take it a step further and have a login on your own personal site that could somehow enable clients to download and look at the information as and when they wanted. An almost mini sep moz for clients where customers login through your own site ?
