Moz not recognising url to setup a new account
-
I am attempting to setup a new account for my client but Moz is having a problem and not registering the url http://www.esc.uk.net/. I get the "oops" message & read the info on the FAQ page it refers to.
Why do I keep getting an "Oops" message when I type and submit my campaign URL?
To create a campaign, we need to receive a valid HTTP response from the web server hosting your site. While the site may be accessible from a standard web browser, other user-agents and search engine bots may receive a different response. If you receive this error, we recommend running a test by sending an HTTP response using any online HTTP tool.
Using an online HTTP tool I believe I received an HTTP response. What else can I do?
Regards
Terry

Hey Kimberly, thanks for writing in.
When I use the Hurl.it tool, I'm actually seeing a 500 internal server error from the site: http://www.screencast.com/t/q8ztS92saho, but that doesn't seem to be the main issue that is causing the error for our tools.
When I curl the site as Rogerbot, I get a 403 Forbidden error for our crawler: http://www.screencast.com/t/x6hfVJj85I. Unfortunately, this means that your server is specifically blocking Rogerbot from accessing the site, so you would need to work with your webmaster to white-list our crawler in order to create a campaign for your site.
Once we are allowed access to the site, the 500 internal server error would also become an issue, so I would have the webmaster for the site look into that, as well.
I hope this helps!

I am having the same problem, and it has persisted for several weeks. I am trying to set up a campaign and am getting the "Oops" message.
I have used Hurl.it to test a GET and a HEAD request; in both cases the site returns a 301 Moved Permanently response (which is correct, the url redirects to a subdomain).
Any suggestions on what else I can try? The url in question is http://texas-cash-out.com.

Hey Terry,
I know we talked in a private email about this temporary bug, but I just wanted to reply here so the post in the Q&A forum doesn't remain unanswered. I know you were able to get the campaign set up already, but please do let me know if you need help with anything else.

Moz only crawling one page of a campaign, please help
Today I set up a new campaign for a client, however the crawl has only found the home page and is saying that the URL is unavailable. The site is definitely live and the URL is correct. I have set up the campaign 3 times one with the full address (http://www.) one with www. and with just the domain name. All three of these have come page with one page crawled and "unavailable" above the URL. It is picking up the crawl issues on the page and showing domain authority but I don't know why it's not crawling other pages. Prior to setting up the campaign I did a site crawl and Moz found everything then, so I don't know why it isn't now. Please help. Thanks

Moz for charities and non-profits
Hi, I noticed an earlier thread on this topic that now seems dead so I decided to start a new one: https://mza.seotoolninja.com/community/q/non-profit-rates We're a non-profit organisation based outside of the US and we were wondering if MOZ's non-profit program can be extended out? We're fully registered and audited in our home country and can provide all the necessary documentary proof if needed.

Moz Analytics - Reports
In the guide video (http://moz.com/help/guides/getting-started) a report button is show. However, I cannot see this button in Moz Analytics. I'm assuming this is due to the tool being in beta?

How do you "Moz Crawl" a website? Newbie...
Hi everyone; I've used Screaming Frog in the past and it's simple: you enter the URL to the box and click "start" and.. voila: as the button says, the crawling starts. I've had the Pro version of Moz for a while now and haven't really 'done' anything with it. I'd like to crawl a website and thought it would be as easy as it's always been with Screaming Frog... but, for some reason, I can't find the 'way' to do it. I find it really frustrating especially cause I feel like an idiot going around in circles thinking I'm missing something really obvious... Until I realised the only solution was to ask here! So... how in the world do you crawl a website using Moz tools? (Pro version) Thanks!
