Maintaining a Network of Websites
-
Hello,
My question is regarding networks of websites.
Right now I have over 150 websites that I bought of the auction houses. They are all sitting on the same GoDaddy account. Most of them have different C-Class IP's. I think I have around 55 different ones.
So my question is, does it matter if they are all under one GoDaddy account? Does this have any negative impact on my rankings.
And also, how can I upload content to all of the websites quickly, instead of having to login constantly to every single on of them.
I use these websites of course to rank a few main websites, I have a client, and I began first using blogrolls to send links to him, and recently I started using actualy content links since I've read here that is a lot more powerful.

Having them under the same GoDaddy account is not a problem - as Google doesn't know they are all under one account.
However, if you have the same administrative/technical contact details for them in the whois data then that is certainly something Google has access to and is checking.
What JoelHit is pointing out is a list of other ways that Google might be able to make a connection between the different sites, i.e having the same GA account monitoring them all makes it fairly obvious they are 'under the same roof'.

Yeah, I don't see how that would make any difference.
My biggest concern is link placement and if using same Godaddy account makes any negative impact.

Why does it matter as long as they have different c-class IPs? Though I don't really have the correct answer, the does your recommendation really make a difference?

What happens to your domain authority if you are forced to change your website name?
Out of curiosity if for legal reason you or a client were forced to change their domain name, what happens to all of your domain authority once you lose the old domain? While you still own the domain you can easily redirect any old links to your new website, but what happens if you no longer own that domain and someone else purchases it? Do they steal all of your domain authority? Or is it possible to keep those old links pointing toward your website?

Is it really possible to clean up a website from spam links?
I have an acquaintance/customer, who is a politician in Italy, he had a website under his name as domain firstnamelastname.it (where firstname and lastname are the firstname and lastname of the guy). He used it during his campaign, then he forgot about the existance and didn't pay the bill to the isp. I don't know what happen exactly, I assume someone registered it after it expired and started using it for some fraudulent purpose, because checking the backlink profile I can see the first backlinks from 2013 are legit and coming from relevant sources (local newspapers), but all the following 300+ links are spam, using keywords like "louis vuitton", "ralph lauren", and so on... Right now the domain is in status "deleted", so I could just register it again, disavow the spammy links and had recycle it. But I am scared as hell. I never had to disavow a single link in all my life, and I don't know if it is going to really clean up the domain from any possible google penalization. Is it?

How Useful is this website for Linkbuilding
I've been looking at A to Z of materials trying to determine how much time it is worth spending on building a company profile and adding additional information http://www.azom.com/suppliers.aspx?SupplierID=2343 DA is 50+ and PA for a new listing seems to be 17 of so. My site currently has a DA of about 20. Once of my competitors seems to have put a lot of time into it Other than a profile you can also write articles and post news. It's worth pointing out that as a whole the sector has no useful blogs and most linkbuilding is done via directory listings. And Most companies have back links from less than 20 other root domains. Thoughts would be gratefully received

Website/blog list to get quality backlinks?
Hi Everyone says quality backlinks increase ranking of your website. Can you please suggest a list of good websites and blogs from where I can get quality backlinks and how to do that. I have one person at my disposal full time to do manual commenting or any manual tasks for getting backlinks but how should i approach this problem (of getting backlinks). Where do I start. For information, my website provides online services (its an ecommerce site) and also has a blog in subdirectory. refer to www.geekwik.com www.geekwik.com/blog Would like to become top ranker on search for these services (eg 'logo design services', 'website programming', 'content writing', 'hire virtual assistant' etc) Also anyone interested to become our SEO consultant or SEO service provider (of course paid) is most welcome 🙂 Thanks in Advance!
