I have a eCommerce store over BigCommerce platform. It is possible to sell via Shopping Comparison Sites like:
Nextag, PriceGrabber, Bizrate, Shopping.com,
If I decide to advertise my products over those sites, will it be consider a trust link for Google?
Our store is new and we don't have links referring to us, I need solutions. Also, there is a yellow pages site, http://www.yellowpages.ca/ that ask for monthly fees to advertise on there web site, advertising will be business name, addressee, phone number and web site, will it be a positive link for Google or just a paid link?
This is our store:
Thank you for your help and support,

the higher the DA number the better, right?

Personally I would look first at the DA since this should provide insight into the domains strength on the web. I won't get into the metrics of how it is calculated since I would just be repeating the information that can already be found here -> http://www.seomoz.org/learn-seo/link-topics
Aim for high quality links on related sites and create link worthy content whenever possible and you shall see results!
Good luck

Just looking at the sites, it doesn't seem that these are high-value signals to Google (the Yellow Pages ads are triggered from Javascript and not likely crawled).
But, more importantly, this is less an SEO question than an overall marketing question. I wouldn't ask whether these are valuable to improve your ranking. It's really more a matter of whether they'll improve your business. If your customers use these sites to find information about your product, look at the cost of being there relative to the return it will generate to determine their value. They may not be good for SEO. But they may extend your brand's reach and need to be weighed against whether they're any good for your overall business.

New to SEO and using SEOmoz tools like the toolbar, can the number be useful in the toolbar for finding trust links. For example, the Root Domain number and the Page number what should I look for higher PA or DA or both?
Thank youy

While I'm not going to advocate the buying of links, I will say that in my opinion paying for a banner or text advertisement on high profile trusted and relevant site will not hurt your SEO goal at all. Where you have to be careful is the low quality 'spammy directories' that are dime a dozen out there.
For me it's pretty clear that you're not just buying a link, but advertising on a relevant business directory.

Spammy links
Hi I was reviewing a clients link profile and found a lot of the links they have pointed at their domain have the anchor text "Buy Viagra" or "buy viagra online" and similar. Now the website has absolutely nothing to do with this kind of business so no doubt these links are spammy. To my knowledge the website has not been penalised by Google so far. Is it best to disavow or just leave alone? Kind Regards

Link Auditing
Anyone have any useful ways to link audit? I'm stuck picking up the slack from a previous worker who decided buying links was a great idea for our clients.

Links from sites with iffy link profiles?
So the site http://www.cadenas.de/ appears to have good decent scores from the various Moz ranks, but when I check out the site in OSE there are a lot of really sketchy links that jump out, online pharmacy/drug type links. I should also add that the negative links are seemingly going to a weird blog deep in the site and only appear when I select all links to the root domain in OSE. Everything about the site appears very legitimate except for the link profile which has me nervous. Would you guys pursue a link from this site?

1and1 - Ever had any problems? Link Analysis / SEO
Hi there guys, I have a website (www.advanced-incarcamerasystems.com) that I built quickly using the 1and1 service in the UK. I have been an SEOmozzer since about the beginning of June/July time and still not seeing any link info. It also seems to be struggling in terms of SEO. 1and1 have their own built in tools such as modifying certain SEO parts of a website but it really doesn't seem to do much. Our main site (www.advanced-incar.co.uk) has gone from strength to strength since using SEOmoz so im at a bit of a loss. Any help / advice anybody can throw my way would be great! Tim

Link Directories
Hi there, We're very shortly launching a new website so as part of our link strategy we will be linking to directories found with the Link Acquisition Assistant for various keyword searches. I was wondering at what point is it not worthwhile submitting to these directories with regards PA and DA? For example if a directory has a domain authority of 69 but the page authority for the keyword in question is only 1, would it be a waste of time? Cheers

Link building tools/sites
I am looking for a way to share my content in multiple locations to build back links without having to upload one at a time per location. For example- if i write an article and i upload it to ezine articles and then post it over on my blog- it will then post over on my twitter and facebook and linked in. However- how i can also get this article with back links into shared sites, bookmark sites, and other locations online to help build my inbound marketing for back links. I'm trying to find a way to save time while building out the links.
