I can't see the new Facebook Insights.
-
Is anyone else having trouble seeing the new Facebook Insights page? If I click on Insights I get a message at the top that says, "Take me to the new Page Insights" but if I click on it it does nothing.
Apparently people are "talking about me" and I can't see the new stats!

I find that Facebook can be buggy like that sometimes. Usually if you try back a bit later or the next day you'll see it. I agree with Nick, it's interesting but not data you can do much with. It's cool to see how many times your brand has been talked about, but you don't get much more information than that. At least Facebook is trying to improve and give us more info, maybe the next phase will have even more data.
For now I wouldn't worry too much about it not working, give it a day or so and try again.

If you are logged in as your Page, try logging in under your user account. Or if you were only logged in as yourself, try logging in as your Page. If none of that works, it may be a facebook bug.
From what I can tell, you aren't missing much. I have notifications that people are talking about my page, but could only find some charts and graphs showing how many, but not what or who. Maybe I am missing something, but I think the new Insights are not quite complete.

What's your preference - regurgitate content on social media or just post it the once?
Hi All, Not been on the forums for a while and this isn't really an SEO question. How do you feel about Twitter feeds that constantly regurgitate the same content. It's pretty much industry standard on most pages but if the content is yours, no affiliates or other people are involved - is it really necessary to plug the same 500 word blog post over and over? Personally, I don't like it. I think it looks spammy and unprofessional and in all honesty, I unfollow pages regularly because of it.. What do you guys think? Am I squandering content by not regurgitating? Happy Monday all - Jamie

SEO For New Website
Hello Mozzers, I've recently (2 weeks ago) launched a website with a brand new domain for a client. I know I can't expect instant results but I'd like to know I've done all I can to get the best results as fast as possible. I've done the following already: It's a WordPress driven website so the site is very SEO friendly Submitted the sitemap.xml to Google Listed the site on Bing Sorted out the canonical issue Got keyword rich URLs Meta tags are in Site structure is heavily optimized with H1, H2 tags, etc. used appropriately Set up a Google Places listing Made sure all images and links are semantically optimized Copy can be improved but is pretty keyword rich However the client is not using Social Media at all and there's no link building strategy in place. Will this undermine the rankings a lot? What else can I do to get the client better results, faster? Any help will be much appreciated. Best regards, Rex (SEO Noob)

How does Google 'see' Facebook shares?
With Rand's new post about the correlation between FB Shares and rankings, I wanted to ask... How is Google able to see what links are being shared? Does the profile have to be public? Or do they get anonymous info direct from FB as part of some deal?

Are Facebook page updates indexed in Google search?
I seem to remember an update where Google said it was going to include Facebook page updates into Google search, but perhaps that was a deal that fell through? If updates ARE appearing in Gooogle search, how do I troubleshoot a Facebook page where they are not?
