Does This Really Annoy You
-
I write a lot of articles to promote my site but even though i am happy that my articles get picked up and appear all over the net what really annoys me is when people use silly programes to change the words which do not make any sense.
Here is an example:http://weightlosstipsnow.info/2011/08/weight-loss-secrets-are-inside-you-claims-weight-loss-hypnosis-expert.html
feel that when people use this silly programes to change the wording to make the article look unique, it makes my writing look stupid and i feel it could damage my reputation.
Does anyone use these programes or are you like me and think they are annoying and do you think they will damage my reputation.

I would not worry too much that is just a .info spam website, what the do is they use content spinners to generate very low quality articles then they keep churning them out on their websites.
It is all a ploy to gather more revenue from existing ad units. The thing is they probably do not even rank.

We spend all of our effort writing articles for our own site. We never give them away. Far too valuable to give them away - and as we see here the promise of links is hollow.

I'd be more concerned with writing quality content and getting a following as opposed to trying to post your articles on article websites with links back to your site. Get a good following on Twitter, Facebook, and an RSS feed, and promote your content that way.
Writing 8 articles is a lot in one week. You would be better off focusing on quality vs. quantity. Google is looking for amazing content to promote at the top of its SERPs. Rand said it best in this Whiteboard Friday:
Will: Good content is . . .
Rand: Mediocre at this point in terms of value.
In the post-Panda world we're living in, you really have to provide exceptional content that people will find value in, enjoy, and link to. Ask yourself, would you expect to see this article in print? (also from that Whiteboard Friday)

What i have had trouble with is finding article sites to write articles for and get links back. I have tried lots of different article sites and we get lots of our articles republished but without any links back which is not good.
I feel that I am writing lots of articles with no benefits as we are not getting any links back. All we seem to be doing is having our articles reprinted around the web which does not make much sense because of these wording programes that people are using.
If anyone can recommend article sites where we will get a link back then that would be great. I am writing around eight articles a week and i am on the verge of giving up on writing articles for links and seo

I can't really see how this an SEO issue as nothing links back to your website from that website.(that i can see)
If you are just asking does it damage your reputation as a writer, then my answer would be "Yes"

Does tier tactic really worth it?
Hi, I've received a professional proposition to build a blog network so that the consultants can do a tiered link building strategy. I read this post, but it is 3 years old. https://mza.seotoolninja.com/community/q/is-tiered-link-building-a-good-thing Anyone can confirm me wether it works or I should reject this offer? Thank you so much.

Are links from charities really better than 'normal' links.
Hi Guys. Just wondering about this idea that links from Charities are particularly good. I've heard people say that links from .org sites are particularly strong. But anyone can get a .org domain, it's just that charities tend to use them more often. Right? I just don't get the logic. Can anyone give more detail about this? Is it a myth? Is there quality info on this topic I can check out? We're working with several charities at the moment, and they all seem happy to blog and link to us...so I just wanted to know a little more. Isaac.

Are .edu links really better?
Getting .edu links seems to be the Holy Grail for many SEOs and link builder. I understand how difficult it can be to get a link from a .edu domain that happens to cover topics in your industry. What I am wondering is, has there been any studies/tests to determine if .edu links are more powerful that a link from a trusted/relavant .com? All things being equal (DA, PA, etc.), is the .edu better? What if the .com has slightly better metrics, is the .edu still better for SEO? I haven't been able to find any expert blog posts about the added value.

Are nofollow links really not effecting rank?
I honestly find it hard to believe that nofollow links are not being considered for rank. Take for example Google finds 2,000,000 nofollow links for a site. Are they really going to ignore that?

Dripable.com and dripfeed.com. I really see no value whatsoever in any service like this. If anyone has an opinion that differs from mine. Go ahead.
I cant believe people are still using services like this. The interesting thing is that they do seem to offer great customer service, but that "service" seems to only spin comment spam and back profile backlinks. Id love for our community to discuss more sites like this so that Junior SEO's or people just starting dong get wooed by the promise of AWESOME links. Cheers,

Is it really worth it to submit to Yahoo Directory for $300 per year?
The fee does not even guarantee inclusion - and if you are accepted, does that link really add enough value to justify paying an annual $300 fee?
