What are the 5 most important things that a novice blogger can do to improve Moz Rank
-
I have been blogging for sometime now.Around 50 days to be specific.
The best part is in these 50 days is I have been able to Monitor and improve my Alexa rank for above 19 million to below 400 thousand now and its still improving.More so,my country rank has improved quite drastically, its now among the first 20 thousand websites in India.
However,I have noticed these things in particular -
1.Mozrank has been constant at 1.5, all this while.
2.The Root domain authority improved by just 1 point to 96,as I am using blogger platform.
3.The mozTrust has been 0 all this while too.
I don't understand how to tackle these issues. As I am already featured in couple of websites among the top ranked blogs from India.I have kept my eye on the moz Rank now for quite sometime.
Hence this obvious question. In my situation what are the 5 most important things a blogger can do to improve the ranking. I am targeting the bracket of 2-3 for the coming month ranking.
Thank you beforehand.

The mozrank on the SEOmoz tool bar is coming from SEOmoz's linkscape index.
Different services will use different methods to discover links so you'll find that Alexa, MajesticSEO, SEOmoz etc can show some significant differences in the data they collect.
I wouldn't worry so much about what your scores are, just what you can do to improve them. After all the only real thing that matters here is getting the right traffic and improving engagement once they get to your blog.
If you're commenting on blogs in order to get links then note that these links are usually no-follow links and may not be doing very much to improve your reputation - you don't want to be seen as a comment-spammer.
Your time may be better used by finding higher quality ways to get backlinks. See my previous comment about guest posting.
If you've not already done so I'd recommend reading the SEOmoz beginners guide to SEO and SEOmoz's Professional Link Buidling Guide

I have this one question.
Alexa also has a section called as Reputation. There it shows links to all the websites there either I have commented or people have arrived at my website through some search engines.
There the inbound links is 120 already and counting.
So what is the difference between those links and the links which Moz rank tool bar is counting ?
Thank you beforehand.

Of course the most important thing to a new blogger is getting some traffic. There's little point writing articles unless people are reading them.
Work on getting some backlinks to your blog. At the moment Open Site Explorer is only showing links from 4 domains and pretty much all of these links are no-follow (no-follow links are not seen as an endorsement and pass little authority to your site.)
I'd look at making some connections with other bloggers out there and see if you can do some guest posts. This is a great way to get backlinks and also get your content/name in front of people. You want to target blogs that cover related subject matter and have a good number of subscribers.
Hope this helps!

Rankings Bouncing Weekly
I have a client who ranks well for a number of keywords. This week we have about 20 keywords in the top ten on Google that we're tracking. But every week it seems, the keywords bounce around quite a bit. This week, for example, we had at least 15 keywords out of the ~90 we're tracking jump between 30 to 40 spots. The most any keywords increased was 43, a few 42s and 41s, in one week. Next week, they'll go down a few, then bounce up again just like this. This has been happening for a while. I'm trying to figure out what the issue is.

Rankings drop in UK and AU but not US
After the last Panda update on Jan. 22 my rankings dropped significantly in the AU and UK but not in the US. We operate in UK and AU and not the US so if anything the rankings should be the opposite (which also obviously would be preferred) Any ideas for why this would occur?

Can Google move up my ranking without caching it ?
Is it possible that my site was last cached in Google on 9 Oct (it was ranking 23 that time) and today on 29th oct its ranking position 3 for a kw though still showing cached on 9 oct. Its not cached since 9 oct, does that mean its not crawled since then? How can Google move up my ranking without caching it ?

Rankings for Google Play Pages
Hey all, I'm relatively new here and certainly new to posting in the forums and interacting with the community but I hope to be much more active in the coming months. I have what might be a silly question regarding search results for a Google Play store-specific query. The company in question has their main North American app that's been out for a month and a half and then an International version that was released just a few days ago. If you run a Google search (NOT a search witin Google Play) for 'Google Play Company Name' the more recent (but less used and ultimately less important, at least for the time being) International app is higher in the SERP than the more used and reviewed North American app. I'm guessing that this is something that will correct itself over the next week as the North American app establishes itself as the more important of the two, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask just in case there's something they can do to affect the results a little quicker. Any advice, input or just a verification of my guess would be greatly appreciated!

How can something be duplicate content of itself?
Just got the new crawl report, and I have a recurring issue that comes back around every month or so, which is that a bunch of pages are reported as duplicate content for themselves. Literally the same URL: http://awesomewidgetworld.com/promotions.shtml is reporting that http://awesomewidgetworld.com/promotions.shtml is both a duplicate title, and duplicate content. Well, I would hope so! It's the same URL! Is this a crawl error? Is it a site error? Has anyone seen this before? Do I need to give more information? P.S. awesomewidgetworld is not the actual site name.

Viral page not ranking onGoogle
A user generated talk thread on our social networking site went viral yesterday and generated around 36000 extra visits. But, when we Google the key phrase in this thread our site is not even in the Top 50. Instead the pages are dominated by other (lesser) websites referring to the content and linking to the thread The page is indexed The on page SEO grade for the key phrase and variant according to SEOMoz is A Our home page has a PR of 7 and an SEO Domain Authority of 76 We are the original source of this content Other talk threads on different subjects in a similar category are ranking on page 1 of Google. What's happening?

Hosted in the Cloud, my URL is a .com how can I rank in UK SERPS?
Hi Mozzers, I have found an e-commerce SAS solution (USA based) that hosts its platform in the Cloud. Unfortunately my domain is a ,com but I wish to rank & sell within the UK. I realise I can select the UK parameters within GWT, but I am led to believe that this isnt hugely effective. Other than choosing another eCommerce platform, could anyone please assist me in identifying a solution? Thank you in advance.
