The keyword analysis tool! https://mza.seotoolninja.com/researchtools/keyword-analysis
This tool uses Bing monthly organic data. The benefit of using this data is that it is not an estimate of organic search volume, it's real and accurate search volume, and it gives you the data for the last month of searching - so you can get an idea of how relevant the keyword is right now.
The disadvantage of course is that Bing has a much smaller market share than Google and thus its data set may not be indicative of real searcher behaviour. That's why I like to combine the Bing keyword volume with the data you can get from the Google Adwords Keyword tool.
If you get the average volume from the two sources, you're well on your way to conducting some good keyword research. Try and also combine keyword phrase mentions in Fresh Web Explorer and social mentions on Topsy for the last 30 days.
Hope this helps.

A question on keywords that rank 51+
Good afternoon everyone. I wanted to pose a question to the group about keywords and the "on-page optimization - grade a page tool." I have a list of keywords that I am trying to rank for. Some of them are not ranked in the top 50, so on the keyword ranking tool it gives you the 51+ message in the rank column. For the items that are ranked I can try to improve them by looking at grade a page and typing in the URL and keyword. It will then give me a score and suggestions on how to improve it. With that being said, is there an easy way to find out which pages I should be optimizing those keywords which rank at 51+ for, besides typing the keywords in Google and seeing what URL it associates with the specific keyword? I hope the question above is clear.

Remove geographic modifiers from keyword list
I just pulled a search term report for all of 2013 from my PPC account. What I got was 673,000 rows of terms that have garnered at least 1 impression in 2013. This is exactly what I was looking for. My issue is that the vast majority of terms are geo-modified to include the city, the city and state or the zip code. I am trying to remove the geographic information to get to a list of root words people are interested in based on their search query patterns. Does anyone know how to remove all city, state and zip codes quickly without having to do a find and replace for each geo-modifier in excel? for example, if i could get a list of all city and state combinations in the US and a list of all zip codes, and put that list on a separate tab and then have a macro find and remove from the original tab any instances of anything from the second tab, that would probably do the trick. Then I could remove duplicates and have my list of root words.

Not provided traffic in Moz
Hello, I was wondering, if anyone knew how moz handles non provided keywords? is it not displayed, or is it labeled as something else? I know in WMT, it still displays it. Thanks for your help.

Moz vs google data conflict?
Hi there, I am doing an SEO site audit for a client(giveaway, and here is the problem: when performing site:domain.com on google --> 13,800 pages were found When I see this number it seems to be a bit too much compare to the links i checked on integrity(link check for broken links) which gave me a result of 1291. I digged in more into the Google results and saw hundreds(maybe thousands) of pages that are blocked by robots.txt. So I am thinking, ok this is it, thousands of pages can't be crawled by the search engines. Here is the big BUT though, then I check at my moz crawl (see attachment) and no pages are blocked by the SEs, and then look at the dups, only 23 recorded?? Is Moz not crawling properly the 13,800 results that google finds or is this some magical phenomenon happening here? I am really confused here that is why I need some help here! Thank you guys! On page links tool here at Seomoz
Hi Seomoz - first of all, thanks for the best SEO tools I have ever worked with (this is my first question in this forum, and also I just subscribed as a paying customer after the 30 days trial you guys offer). My question: After having worked for several weeks on getting the numbers of links in our forum on www.texaspoker.dk down, we are somewhat surprised to see that we didn't succeed in getting lower numbers. For instance, this page: http://www.texaspoker.dk/forum/aktuelle-konkurrencer/coaching-projekt-bliver-du-den-udvalgte has (that's what Seomoz seo tool tells us): 239 on page links. Can this really be true? We can't find these links, and we actuually did a lot to lower the numbers of links, for instance the forum members picture was a link before, and also there was a "go to top" link in each post in the forum. Thanks a lot.

SEOMoz Campaign Tool
I've noticed that when looking at the SEOmoz tool, specifically the On Page analysis tool, it is still looking at an old url. About two months ago I made updates to all of our category page URLs. Previously the old urls were stuffed with keywords, strange characters and were really long. When looking at the on-page tool though it is referencing the old urls for keywords and I'm wondering why? I figure its been long enough to recognize the new urls. Is the paring of a keyword and a url saved and just graded on a weekly basis to produce the report? I had expected to see the new url's by now which are also represented in the sitemap. Around that same time I also added our TellAFriend Page and Review pages to our Robots.txt file as not to be crawled but I still see these pages come up in the errors report. Should this update as well?

How to track keyword performance over time?
The SEOMoz keyword reports show week-to-week changed in keyword positions, but what report can I run to see trends over time so that I can evaluate the effectiveness of our SEO efforts?
