OSE results vs. Google

Is OSE still a worthy analyzer of the factors breaking down Google rank of a page or website?
More so over the past six months, I've seems to noticed how the page comparison in OSE seems to have less and less correspondence to Google rank. For instance, I'm analyzing sites where the top result has a Page Authority rank of 11, Subdomain MozRank of 3.53, outranking a page coming in in spot #14 with Page Authority of 36, Subdomain MozRank of 3.94. I see this frequently, that by the factors measured in OSE, a certain page with favorable scores is being outranked by a page with poor OSE scores.
Of course, I realize how sophisticated Google's algorithm is and the OSE can't reverse engineer the whole thing. Also, there are lots of other factors, such as personalized search results, banklink velocity, and who's in my G+ circles, that isn't taken into account in OSE. Yet, I see this more-and-more, where websites kicking ass in OSE measurements rank poor, and poor websites ranked in OSE come out near the top in Google.
So, given this, where OSE is apparently a less effective tool to help analyze the factors building Google rank as Google evolves and values brand, what should a chap do? I already know the predictable answers of do RCS, build your community, and so on. But, I want to know what's driving the juice behind these top ranking websites, and OSE doesn't seem to be cutting it anymore...

Can I change the Link Explorer from check with Google US?
I'm trying to check the ranking keywords for a specific article with the Link Explorer, but when I hover over Ranking Keywords on the Overview it tells me that it's looking on Google US. We're a UK based company and the keywords we're trying to rank for are UK based - is there a way of changing this to match?

Backlinks dropped in OSE
Hi Webmaster, I just checked my website backlinks In MOZ OSE (Open Sire Explorer) tool, from the recent report history, I took the following details, June 29,2014 - 775 links
Link Explorer | | zco_seo
Aug 13,2014 - 783 links
Apr 06,2015 - 861 links
Aug 10,2015 - 880 links
Sep 16,2015 - 880 links
Feb 16,2016 - 569 links
Mar 03,2016 - 672 links
Mar 23,2016 - 55 links (Only coming from blog comments, also different targeted pages, I just removed few blog & forum links, that was around 100 only) Is there any tool issue? But In Google search Console (Google Webmasters Tool) it was saying more backlinks. But, at the same time, I checked my competitors website too, they were having more links with target page only. If anyone know the answer for this, it will be good for us. Thanks in advance,
Cheers,

Top Pages in OSE
Hey, I'm using OSE to determine top pages for some domains. This works great for some sites, but I'm finding with a few sites only the home page comes up in the 'top pages' list - is this because the home page is the only one with a PA above one? Cheers

Can't make sense of OSE and MOZ.
I checked this site on my OSE and it shows only 7 inbound links a DA of 14 and no social activity whatsoever yet when I check it on Majestic it shows ExternalBacklinks 71 ReferringDomains 20 Referring IPs 19 Referring Subnets 19 . And.. the page is #1 on google search for hypnotherapy michigan. How can it rate so poorly on MOZ, show so much more on majestic and rank so high on google? I thought MOZ data was supposed to be among the best and that top rated pages on google should also rate high on MOZ. here is the site http://hypnotherapy-detroit.com Additionally, when i look at the site, i notice that most of the backlinks are exchanged links and this site's link exchange page isn't even linked from the home page. Now I thought that kind of link exchange game was now discounted by Google. I don't get it. No social pages at all... low page rank... no new content.. so by MOZ standards there is no justification for this page to be anywhere near page one let alone at position #1. Can someone help me make sense of all this?

How long will it take for the changes we've made to reflect in Moz OSE spam score data?
I signed up for Moz to see the spam flags our site had triggered. As soon as I found out, we worked on it and have been trying to correct our mistakes but it's been more than a month and we've managed to neutralise zero flags. I would appreciate if someone can clarify how long the OSE data takes to refresh. Also, how do you combat the following three specific flags: Ratio of Followed to Nofollowed Subdomains Ratio of Followed to Nofollowed Domains Low Number of Pages Found Crawl only gets a valid response to a small number of pages. Thanks.

Facebook likes in OSE when there is no Facebook Like button on the web page
In OSE how are page specific facebook likes calculated when the page does not have a Facebook like/share button on it? I have seen many pages with multiple Facebook likes counted against it in OSE but cannot see how people could be liking the page.

Discrepancies between Mozbar data and OSE?
Hey everyone, I've been doing some research into keyword competition, and i've come across a few instances where the data that Mozbar provides differs pretty greatly from what open site explorer is telling me. An example: For this site: http://www.bcwsupplies.com When I have it returned in the serps, Mozbar is telling me there are 21,306 links & 218 linking root domains. But, when I check the backlink profile via OSE, it's only showing 3,020 links & 88 root domains. Can anyone shed some insight into this? Thanks!

Why does it take so long to generate CSV reports from OSE?
My CSV reports are taking so long to generate, that I'm unable to deliver analysis that I need to deliver today. How can it take so long to create a CSV document for a report that took seconds to generate on screen? How can I justify my subscription for a product that doesn't deliver? I do have to justify it. I feel so let down.
