Bing not indexing website for some weird quality reason
-
Hi,I have a strange problem. My website www.dealwithautism.com is just 2 months old and have 40+ high quality articles that are already beginning to see some organic traffic from Google without any off page SEO (link building, etc).
By quality articles I mean:
1. Each article is 1500+ words of unique and highly relevant content with solid on page SEO (images may be reused from Google images). Moz page grader=A for most pages2. Pretty well structured (with good number of internal links)
3. Entire site (all pages) delivered over https SSL using 301 redirect
4. No malware or spammy backlinks
5. NAP details and social signals available
6. Already ranking top10 in google SERPs for long tail KWs
7. According to Google Webmasters, no crawl errors except for a few (less than 10) 404s
8. Fully responsive - all pages tagged as "Mobile Friendly" by Google
However, since day 1, Bing has not indexed a single page on my website (xml sitemap was updated from day 1) even though they are crawling the site. I recently raised an Email ticket and this was their response:
"Upon checking, it appears that your site did not meet the standards set by Bing to get indexed the last time it was crawled. However, we will be looking further into this issue along with the Product Group to review the content of your website for re-evaluation. We currently do not have an ETA for the update but please be assured that we will get back to you as soon as they become available."
Now based on my previous experience, this could take months.
Following are just a few sample pages on the website:
https://www.dealwithautism.com/oppositional-defiant-disorder-treatment-and-odd-case-study/
https://www.dealwithautism.com/tourette-syndrome-symptoms-treatment-for-tourettes/
https://www.dealwithautism.com/autism-test-for-toddlers/
I believe the quality of these pages are quite good for a small new website.
Then what does Bing mean by "website not meeting standards"? Am I missing a piece of the puzzle?I would have thought that Google was more quality focused than Bing but my SEO performance in Google is currently exceeding my expectation. Can you experts please help me out here?

Have you thought about reaching out to Bing? They have a team of specialists that you can reach if you have set up a Bing Webmaster Tools account. That might be a really helpful resource in solving this problem.

You mentioned "(images may be reused from Google images)". You may want to go back and look and make sure there are no copyright violations here, to prevent yourself from running into trouble later on.

I'd start by taking a look at your link profile. I did a quick check with Moz and Majestic SEO and noticed a couple of things:
- You have very few incoming links (0 recorded on Moz, 84 on Majestic).
- None of the Majestic inventoried links have any citation or trust flow, meaning they're considered very low quality.
- The majority of the Majestic inventoried links are tagged as having been deleted.
Another quick note (but this wouldn't prevent you from being indexed) is your tag pages are indexed. I'd change those to noindex to minimize duplicate content.

Hi,
Any takers for this one? I know its a long question but some help would be great as i am a bit clueless.

About DA of the Website
Hi There, I would like to know why one of my website - https://patnalocalguide.com Domain Authority is not improving. It is not going up and down but it is maintaining its score between 10 since last 5 months. Not going above 10 or below. Why is it so? I'm conitnuously working on creating backlinks for the website and the DR score on Ahref improving but the DA is not. What steps to follow to increase DA? How to find out whats going wrong with our present strategy?

Why is my website not ranking for it's brand name in SERPs but has been indexed by Google?
The website https://christchurch.crowneplaza.com has been live for a couple of months but is not being found in Google search results - even when searching for it's own brand name 'crowne plaza christchurch.' Google has indexed the site - but we are still not showing - https://www.google.co.nz/search?q=site%3Ahttp%3A%2F%2Fchristchurch.crowneplaza.com&rlz=1C1NHXL_enNZ735NZ735&oq=site%3A&aqs=chrome.0.69i59j69i57j69i58j69i59l2j69i65.896j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 Any ideas as to why? I think it may be because their are two versions of the site, http and https, both with their own rel=canonical tags. Could this be the cause? Any help much appreciated.

Schema for E-Commerce websites
Hi Guys. I am running a cleanup for the on page schema we use and will be moving the on page elements into tag manager. I have all the metas and schema for the products boxed off. My question today is what schema should I use for category pages. Granted there is Json-LD for aggregated reviews but I cant see or work out how or what to use for the category pages that have the lists of products on. Any assistance appreciated. Alex

Do low quality subdomains affect the ranking performance/quality of a root domain?
Hi, Late last year the company I work for launched two new websites that, at the time, we believed were completely separate from our main website. The two new websites were set up externally and were not well-planned from an SEO perspective (LOTS of duplicate content) - hence, they have struggled to rank on Google. Since the launch of the new websites we have also noticed that our main website (that previously ranked very well) has suffered a decline in visitation and search engine rank. We initially attributed this to a number of factors, including the state of the market, and ramped up our SEO efforts (seeing minor improvement). We have since realised that these two new websites have been set up as subdomains of our main website, with MOZ displaying the same domain authority and root domain backlink profile. My question is, do poor quality subdomains affect the ranking performance of a root domain? I have not yet managed to find a definitive answer. Please let me know if more information is required - I am quite new to the whole SEO concept. Thanks! Amy

Bing seriously hitting our website
Hi I have a strange query, Bing in the last four weeks have been seriously crawling our site, and while at the moment this isn't affecting our servers, coming into the busy time of the year I am just wondering if anyone else is seeing this. They are basically crawling the entire site (including nofollow pages) even though according to Bing Webmaster tools, they know our sitemap. Is anybody else seeing any unusual activity with the Bing bot. Thanks Andy

Ajax website and SEO
Hi all, A client of mine has a website similar to Pintrest. All in Ajax/. So imagine an ajax-grid based animal lover site called domain.com. The domain has three different Categories Cats, Dogs, Mice. When you click on a category, the site doesn't handle the URL and doesn't change the domain So instead of the domain going from domain.com to domain.com/cats, it uses the Ajax script and just shows all the cat pins. and when you click on each pin/post it opens a page such as domain.com/Pin/123/PostTitle It doesn't reference the category. However a page domain.com/cats does exist and you can go there directly. Is this an SEO issue for not grouping all pins under a category? How does Google handle Ajax these days, it use to be real bad but if Pintrest is going so well i'm assuming times have changed? Any other things to be wary of for a grid based/ajax site? I am happy to pay for an hour or two for a more in depth audit/tips if you can feed back on the above. Fairly urgent. Thanks

Redirecting multiple websites to a single website
I've been trying to run several truck accessory affiliate websites for a quite a while now. I've recently decided to combine all of my affiliate websites into a single community website. This way I'll be able to focus all my energy and link building into a single place and build up a single brand. My question is, how many websites do I try to redirect to the new website at a time? Do I need to spread this out? Or is it ok if I move all of my content and websites at a single time? I have around 30 websites that I could move to this new domain. Thanks! Andy
