Linkedin "company website" link - any value?
-
Hi
So, on Linkedin, I can put my company website. I've been trying to figure out if this is a nofollow, or do follow - or, not even really a link.
Here's how it appears in my profile's source code
Websites
- <a target="_blank" <strong="">href="/redir/redirect?url=http%3A%2F%2Fmaxvape%2Ecom&urlhash=MtlQ&trk=ppro_website">Company Website</a>
Is this even a "link"? I'm guessing the way it is built, no it's not even a nofollow link.
Secondly, does anyone know any good link-juice you can get form Linkedin.
Thanks!

Bingo - I agree Joe! To me it looks like the way LinkedIn built this, it's not even a no-follow link.
If anyone else knows of any LinkedIn strategy, I'd love to hear more.

My view is no actual link juice is passed through to your website with the Linkedin re-direct script. I have never seen a Linkedin link on any of my clients back links list for the link equity domain listings. That being said I would use Linkedin as a great source for networking to grow your business.
Hope that helps,
Joe

Hello Ted,
sorry, my mistake, i meant GWT -> Google Webmaster Tools

What is GTW?

This is for sure a follow link so they are followed by the search engine
But the follow link is not to your website, rather redirects, so i´m not sure how much link juice is your site getting.
I would try it and check in GWT if google detect it is as a link from linkedin

How to get Google+ Reviews directly on your website?
Greetings Mozzers, I'm wondering if there is a way to get a Google+ embed on a website for visitors to easily provide Google+ reviews without having to leave your site? Hard? Easy? Doable? Good Idea? Any direction or education on this matter would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

How To Use Followerwonk and Twitter for outreach link building
I'm wondering if anyone can help me with how to use follower wonk and twitter for outreach link building and offer any strategies. I'm using the following method but perhaps there are more efficient ways of doing it or other software that can aid the process. As I understand it it's a case of searching bios on followerwonk based on keywords and at the minute I'm selecting targets by social authority. (Is that the best metric or the there another one that's better?). I'm basically then following users in my niche and hoping that they follow me back. Those that do I'm then visiting their website based on the url in their twitter bio and running it through OSE to check the domain authority to see if the site authority is high enough to warrant listing them as a potential link target. If so I'm communicating with them by sharing their content, mentioning them or direct messaging them complimenting them on an article or such like. My aim is to build a relationship and eventually achieve a guest post or backlink somehow. Is this how the process should work?

Should you have both google authorship & publisher set up on a website?
I have read that its a good idea to have both rel=author & rel= publisher set up on a website If so What is the best way to set it up to where rel=author and rel=publisher appear in your website source code? I use wordpress genesis site and have the Yoast seo plugin **In the user profile section on WP there is an area to enter google Authorship link **In the Yoast dashboard there is a place to enter google publisher link. When I check my source code…….I see rel=publisher only on the home page, however ALL my other WordPress Pages and Posts have rel=author. Does that sound correct?

How do you know when your on a Auth website?
Hi, How do you know when your on a Auth website? Gaining backlinks from Auth 'relevant' websites is at the top of any SEO's list but how do you know when you have found one? Generally I look at DA/PA and social following, the bigger the social lists and the more activity socially on the website the more I think they are a Auth website. So if I had something like DA/PA 60+ and lets say 5000+ twitter and facebook followers with sharing activity on the site, I would then try and gain a link. Cheers

How can I gain links by creating infographics and/or memes?
It seems that both infographics and memes seem to be popular methods of creating good quality links at the moment, but how can you actually gain links by using these? When people share the graphics they will need to put an extra link in back to you and obviously most will be via social media so will not be worth that much to Google? Do I need to email these out to blogs etc?
