Tools to Discover the Keywords Competitors are Buying in Adwords
-
Is there a tool that you can use to find out what words a competitor is using for google adwords?
-
Most if not all the tools listed only support Google US, UK and a few others. Any tool that supports many more Google search sites such as The Philippines? What do you think of keywordcompetitor.com?
-
There's a few popular ones:
They all use large-scale results scraping to get data (except Compete, which uses ISP/clickstream info), so make sure to check the quality of data sources.

yes many- keywordspy, PPC Bully, semrush , http://www.ispionage.com etc

Adding AdWords Remarketing Pixel to "Partner" Domains?
I have read through the AdWords advertising policies, but there isn't an extremely clear answer to my question: does it break AdWords policy to include a remarketing pixel on a partner website? Example - I own and run 123boats.com, my acquaintance who owns abchotels.com has agreed to put my remarketing pixel on his website, and I plan to show remarketing ads to his website visitors advertising my services at 123boats.com. Is anyone aware of any documentation that explicitly allows or disallows this type of "partner" remarketing tracking?

Adwords and Analytics Conversion Tracking within Adwords
I am trying to decide whether to setup conversion tracking in Adwords using the website/page as a source, or Analytics. I do understand the (basic) difference, however in tossing up the pro's and con's of each I would be grateful for some input. The advertiser is in the (offline) retail and service industry and so conversions being tracked include completing a form, making a booking etc - so it is no problem to implement the tracking snippet. My gut instinct is that Analytics is not as accurate as a reflection as the webpage (due to the way it records only the last conversion). Would it be a mistake to use both? (my concern is that double clicks will be recorded)

3 domains, Same keywords targeting - Best way of managing this?
Hi, I manage 3 domains and am just about to start doing some Branded PPC (to start with) to promote these the problem is that that 2 of the domains sell the exactly same products under the same brand names. What is the most efficient way of setting this up. Obviously by setting up separate accounts and using the MCC I can manage the accounts accordingly, but i am going to be increasing my competition for my own brand terms. As far as i am aware google is not happy with you mixing 2 domains in one account? We also sell our products via a wholesale channel so there is competition with other competitors as well. The 3 sites is slightly different so has less overlap and its not until we hit generic terms that there is some form of competition, between site but i am not worried about this. Can you help? Regards Ben

Do Adwords affect organic rank?
I used to rank 2 for "guitar outlet" I just dropped to under 50th. Only change I made was to pause a Adwords campaign where I was including that keyword. Oddly enough, I believe I ranked high for that keyword BEFORE I added it as a keyword, but I cant be 100% sure due to lack of timing notes. But is it common for adwords to affect organic? If not...where do I start to look for the answer as to why it dropped?

Adwords: Brand ads appear bottom of SERPs
Hello, I'm running a sale promotion on a brand only Adwords campaign (I have the only account with trademark authorization) and have noticed that my ads are appearing at the bottom of the first page on Google. This happened last week so I split the campaign into three Adgroups and that fixed the problem but today I'm running brand only and there is no way to separate them. CPC has also increased dramatically. Normally it's less than 10 cents and now it's sitting at between $2-$4. Has anyone else seen this? Any ideas/advice on how to stop this happening? It's playing havoc with my CTR and conversions. Much thanks,

Adspert and bid management tools.
Hi, Just a quickie. Has anyone on here used Adspert, or a similar bid management tool? We are currently trialing it, but I have mixed feelings about it. Most of our campaigns have the option of using conversion optimiser and I wonder if I would be better using the Google tools. What are your thoughts? Thanks Steve
