Google Adwords Clicks not registering properly???
-
Hello Moz World,
I am running a Google Adwords campaign utilizing Google Search and Search Partners only. These are traditional text ads. When I look at the analytics through Google Adwords, I am seeing 60 clicks. Great! However, when I look through the keywords in the ad groups, none of my keywords are registering clicks. I also checked search terms under the keyword tab, and no keywords are populating. Where are my ads being clicked, and how can I view information on these clicks. This is a relatively new campaign, and I am still trying to figure out if I am targeting the right keywords.
Thanks ahead of time for all the great responses!

Thanks Tyman, I just connected Google Analytics to Adwords. Once the data pulls, I will dive in and see what I can find. Thanks for the info! - Will H.

Hi Will,
Do you have your accounts connected? Than you should be able to see your campaigns in Analytics and the clicks generated. Next to that it gives you info about the behaviour of the visitors. If they have a very high bounce rate it is not a good performing ad/adgroup/campaingI would suggest you stop Search Partners for a while and see what happens than. Search partners has a very wide variety on ads and is hard to track on Add Group level. Hope it helps!
Good luck, Tymen

Will Google penalise me if i noindex lots of pages?
Hey everyone.. I hope you can help! I have optimised my product landing pages for SEO keywords based on volumes. I've been doing PPC for 3 months now and I can see that a lot of the keywords which drive clicks are not showing as high volume in the SEO volumes. My Adwords quality scores for these PPC keywords are low, 6&7 /10... So this leaves me with a predicament - do I 1. Re-optimise my LP's for PPC instead of SEO keywords?

2. Create new LP's just for PPC and no index them? (I could use DKI to good effect here I think thus reducing the necessity to have multiple LP's targeting numerous PPC keywords) But my concern was this... will Google frown on me having lots of similar LPs but only 1 indexed? Or maybe I'm going about this in the wrong manner? Really appreciate any advice anybody can provide on this!? Rick0 -
Should You Buy Your Name in Adwords?
While I definitely see the pros to buying your name in Adwords, should you still do this if you have a small monthly budget? I get why large companies like Tiffany's would buy their name because they have the excessive funds to do so in addition to buying keywords. Any guidance or strategy on this?

Google Product Ads
Hi,
Paid Search Marketing | | ChrisHolgate
I was wondering if I could ask is perhaps someone could give me some clarification as to how the amount we bid on Google Product Ads reflects the product positioning on Google Shopping? We have a Google Product Data Feed which is then linked up to our Adwords account so that we can determine a PPC bid amount. In instances like this it doesn't seem to make sense that one person may be paying 10ppc and another 20ppc when the buyers criteria for sorting merchants was purely down to the price. Since the buyer has the option to sort their products in price from minimum to maximum the sort order cannot be manipulated by Google based on the amount the merchant was paying. As such, how is determining a cost per click figure relevant when the customer is searching by base price low > high on Google Shopping? Surely I should just set the limit to £0.01 and rely on the customer determining the sort order (which ultimately will lead to a higher conversion rate) than allowing Google to skew the results based on bidding 20-30 times this amount? I should state that I'm in the UK. I do realise that a high PPC amount will increase our chance of exposure on standard search pages but my question does relate solely to results listed on Google Shopping. Thanks for your help! Genuine Bot or not! Click fraud?
We are having high levels of activity on one site from Ip addresses that resolve to be legitimate search engine bots. But, the cookie from our site is identifying an individual user. Is this a real person verifying our site or a click fraud that is well disguised. Some of the clicks generate gclid strings but never any sales.

PPC Adwords Trademark Protection
Hi Wheres the form for filling in/registering your brand with Google for trademark protection in adwords ? I can only find an infringement/complaint form, which given no one currently infringing i imagine will be pointless filling it in. I understand its possible to register trademark with Google in the first place If someone can direct me to the exact page will be much appreciated ? Many Thanks Dan

CPC or CPM for Google Display Network?
HI all I'm setting up my first Remarketing campaign on the display network. I'm targeting those that have visited a specific product page at the moment and therefore there won't be a massive amount of traffic to remarket to - roughly no more than 50 clicks/day. My question is - what is the best bidding option for a campaign like this? Not sure whether to go for CPM or traditional CPC. I have previously found CPM much better for Facebook but obviously thats very different to Google. All help appreciated!

Email Address for Google Ireland?
Doe anyone have an email address I can use to contact Google Ireland? One of my competitors posts ads in Australia and I want to see if they would let us also (I work in one of those industries where Google doesn't normally allow PPC) Thanks!

Where are the URLs in Google top ads coming from?
I'm not sure if this new but I noticed it today: Some of the ads that are displayed on top of the SERPs have a title, and then their web address, separated by a vertical bar. For example (see image): Coffee Beans Online | CoffeeBeansDirect.com The same ad, when displayed in the side bar (see 2nd image) doesn't contain the web address. I expected that because if you count the letters in the ad, including the 'coffeebeansdirect.com' it exceeds the amount allowed for a google ad. My question is: How did it get there? There's no room to distinguish between top ads and side ads when you write a new a new ad in adwords so where did it come from? Plus, notice that both CoffeeBeanDirect.com and ROASTe.com use caps that are not used in the green link at the bottom. How did Google know to present the url that way? 549sR 4tAnb
