Cant view campaign after windows 7 install
-
i am giving it a try here since seomoz support couldnt help me. Anyone had similar problems ?
Earlier i was using W Vista (norwegian version) - did a clean reinstall of windows 7 (english version). After that i couldnt open anything related to the pro version of seomoz. When i am on the dashboard and try to open my campaign nothing happens and I just time out after a while(internet explorer). Tried with google chrome. Google chrome says after a while that this site has a redirection loop that is causing multiple redirections. Its advicing me to try to delete cookies (didnt help) also set security to minimum(didnt help).
I then also realized that my google analytics didnt update last 2 days (after install). I am writing this now on my wifes mac. Seomoz and google analytics work just fine.
What is wrong? anyone know ?

Canonical Url Structure Vs. Google Search View
I recently set up a new site and set the "preferred" domain in Google Webmasters to show URLs WITHOUT the WWW for google search purposes. In the confirmation email from google, this confused me: "This setting defines which host - www or not - should be considered the canonical host when indexing your site." In the website, we have cononical URLS at the top of every page in the header, but still have the WWW in those. Any issues with that?

Duplicate Title tags vs. View All for search results
I run a directory and some search queries give almost 1000 unique results. My moz campaign tells me that I have around 1,300 duplicate title tags etc. I read online about canonical, rel=next/prev, also about having a 'view all' page just for google (page links, not search queries), but if I do this, wouldn't the slowness mean google won't index it? So the question is what is the best thing to do?

Is this tabbed implementation of SEO copy correct (i.e. good for getting indexed and in an ok spot in the html as viewed by search bots?
We are trying to switch to a tabbed version of our team/product pages at SeatGeek.com, but where all tabs (only 2 right now) are viewed as one document by the search engines. I am pretty sure we have this working for the most part, but would love some quick feedback from you all as I have never worked with this approach before and these pages are some of our most important. Resources: http://www.ericpender.com/blog/tabs-and-seo http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Webmasters/thread?tid=03fdefb488a16343&hl=en http://searchengineland.com/is-hiding-content-with-display-none-legitimate-seo-13643 Sample in use: http://www.seomoz.org/article/search-ranking-factors **Old Version: ** http://screencast.com/t/BWn0OgZsXt http://seatgeek.com/boston-celtics-tickets/ New Version with tabs: http://screencast.com/t/VW6QzDaGt http://screencast.com/t/RPvYv8sT2 http://seatgeek.com/miami-heat-tickets/ Notes: Content not displayed stacked on browser when Javascript turned off, but it is in the source code. Content shows up in Google cache of new page in the text version. In our implementation the JS is currently forcing the event to end before the default behavior of adding #about in this case to the url string - this can be changed, should it be? Related to this, the developer made it so that typing http://seatgeek.com/miami-heat-tickets/#about directly into the browser does not go to the tab with copy, which I imagine could be considered spammy from a human review perspective (this wasn't intentional). This portion of the code is below the truncated view of the fetch as Googlebot, so we didn't have that resource. Are there any issues with hidden text / is this too far down in the html? Any/all feedback appreciated. I know our copy is old, we are in the process of updating it for this season.

Best way to handle different views of the same page?
Say I have a page: mydomain.com/page But I also have different views: /?sort=alpha /print-version /?session_ID=2892 etc. All same content, more or less. Should the subsequent pages have ROBOTS meta tag with noindex? Should I use canonical? Both? Thanks!

Basically what is the best format for links in your site template that point to pages you do not need to rank or possibly even be indexed? no-follow, iframe, regular? Thanks.
