Crawl Issues / Partial Fetch Via Google
-
We recently launched a new site that doesn't have any ads, but in Webmaster Tools under "Fetch as Google" under the rendering of the page I see:
Googlebot couldn't get all resources for this page. Here's a list:
URL Type Reason Severity https://static.doubleclick.net/instream/ad_status.js Script Blocked Low robots.txt https://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/id AJAX Blocked Low robots.txt Not sure where that would be coming from as we don't have any ads running on our site?
Also, it's stating the the fetch is a "partial" fetch.
Any insight is appreciated.

Thank you, that seems to have addressed that issue!
-
It's caused by having embedded YouTube videos. These YT ad scripts being blocked will also lead to a partial fetch.

Site Link Issues
For several search terms I get site links for the page http://www.waikoloavacationrentals.com/kolea-rentals/kolea-condos/ It makes sense that that page be a site link as it is one of my most used pages, but the problem is google gave it the site link "Kolea 10A". I am having 0 luck making any sense of why that was chosen. It should be something like "Kolea Condos" or something of that nature. Does anyone have any thoughts on where google is coming up with this?

My site is not being regularly crawled?
My site used to be crawled regularly, but not anymore. My pages aren't showing up in the index months after they've been up. I've added them to the sitemap and everything. I now have to submit them through webmaster tools to get them to index. And then they don't really rank? Before you go spouting off the standard SEO resolutions... Yes, I checked for crawl errors on Google Webmaster and no, there aren't any issues No, the pages are not noindex. These pages are index, follow No, the pages are not canonical No, the robots.txt does not block any of these pages No, there is nothing funky going on in my .htaccess. The pages load fine No, I don't have any URL parameters set What else would be interfereing? Here is one of the URLs that wasn't crawled for over a month: http://www.howlatthemoon.com/locations/location-st-louis

Google Disavow Tool
Some background: My rankings have been wildly fluctuating for the past few months for no apparent reason. When I inquired about this, many people said that even though I haven't received any penalty notice, I was probably affected by penguin. (http://moz.com/community/q/ranking-fluctuations) I recently did a link detox by LinkRemovalTools and it gave me a list of all my links, 2% were toxic and 51% were suspiscious. Should I simply disavow the 2%? There are many sites where is no contact info.

I disappeared from Google, but not Bing?
A few weeks ago the company I work for created a website called Nabceptraining.com in hopes to find clientele who are looking to become NABCEP Certified. So we installed WordPress and a nice looking theme that we edited, and we saw that without any real content on the page we were already rank 12 on Google! We never even submitted our site. So we decided to Search Engine Optimize our website to gain even better rankings. So on the first day we added an SEO Tool that would allow us to change the page titles and descriptions on our site, a Sitemap generation tool so we could submit the site to Google, Bing, and Yahoo. At the end of the day we submitted the site and was beginning to create our content. That next morning our ranking was gone and we were not to be found on Google, but we were rank 3 on Bing!? What happened? Why did we disappear? We didn't receive any messages from Google on the webmaster tools saying we were blacklisted. Does anyone have an idea?

MSNbot Issues
We found msnbot is doing lots of request at same time to one URL, even considering we have caching, it triggers many requests at same time so caching does not help at the moment: For sure we can use mutex to make sure URL waits for cache to generate, but we are looking for solution for MSN boot. 123.253.27.53 [11/Dec/2012:14:15:10 -0600] "GET //Fun-Stuff HTTP/1.1" 200 0 "-" "msnbot/2.0b (+http://search.msn.com/msnbot.htm)" 1.253.27.53 [11/Dec/2012:14:15:10 -0600] "GET //Type-of-Resource/Fun-Stuff HTTP/1.1" 200 0 "-" "msnbot/2.0b (+http://search.msn.com/msnbot.htm)" 1.253.27.53 [11/Dec/2012:14:15:10 -0600] "GET /Browse//Fun-Stuff HTTP/1.1" 200 6708 "-" "msnbot/2.0b (+http://search.msn.com/msnbot.htm)" We found the following solution: http://www.bing.com/community/site_blogs/b/webmaster/archive/2009/08/10/crawl-delay-and-the-bing-crawler-msnbot.aspx Bing offers webmasters the ability to slow down the crawl rate to accommodate web server load issues. User-Agent: * Crawl-Delay: 10 Need to know if it’s safe to apply that. OR any other advices. PS: MSNBot gets so bad at times that it could trigger a DOS attack – alone! Crawl report showing only 1 crawled page
Hi, I´m really new to this and have just setup some Campaigns. I have setup a Campaign for the root domain: portaldeldiablo.com.uy which returned only 2 crawled pages.. I really don´t know why is my website not being crawled..Thanks in advance for your help.

Google Shopping Australia/Google Merchant Centre
So Google Shopping has finally landed in Australia so we've got some work todo hooking it up to our client ecom sites. Right now we have a handful of clients who are setup, the feed is getting in their ok but all products are sitting in "disapproved" status in the dashboard and clicking into each individual product the status says awaiting review. I logged a support ticket with Google to get some more info on this as it doesn't look right to me (ie the disapproved status in dashboard) and got a useless templated answer. Seems that if I switch the country destination to US the products are approved and live in google.com shopping search within the hour. Switch back to Australia and they go back to disapproved status. Anyone having the same issue/seen this before? I simply don't trust Google support and wondering if there's other factors at play here.
