XHTML tag syntax for rel=alternate hreflang
-
Is there a difference in the below two tags? My dev team is saying the first can be implemented (technical issue on their end), even though second is preferable, according to support.google.com, in the below two sitemap hreflang notations. My question is, will the first xhtml tag work for Google? Appreciate the input.
<xhtml:link href="<a href="http://store.hp.com/CanadaStore/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://store.hp.com/CanadaStore/" hreflang="en-ca" rel="alternate" /></xhtml:link href="<a>
<xhtml:link href="<a href=" http:="" store.hp.com="" canadastore="" "="" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://store.hp.com/CanadaStore/" rel="alternate" hreflang="en-ca" /></xhtml:link >

In my experience a couple of spaces and the order of attributes don't matter at all. Google will understand just as easily and your developers won't have to jump through extra hoops.

# Tag - opacity and SEO impact
Hello,
Technical SEO | | Tiffany_Barn
I have a query animation 'fade-in-up' on my website: tiffanybarnard.com which moves the H1 tag slightly and fades it in from zero opacity to 1. Will this affect the SEO value of the H1 tag?

Same H1 & H2 Tags
Is it bad to have the same H1 & H2 tag on one page? I found a similar question here on the moz forum but it didn't exactly answer my question. And will adding "about" on the H2 help, or should we avoid duplicate tags completely? Here is a link to the page in question (which will repeat throughout this site.) Thanks in advance!

Here is an example of tags they deem to be duplicate: www.lifeinsure.com/blog/life-insurance-trusts/ www.lifeinsure.com/blog/life-insurance-trusts www.lifeinsure.com/life-insurance-trusts/ I have done 301 redirects from any posts beginning with "/blog/" to "/" Any idea why this is happening?

H1 Tag as Logo on the Homepage.
So I was working on a Genesis theme website where they have the H1 Tag as the Logo on the homepage. I wanted this changed because I always use my H1 tag to include a keyword I want to rank for. I was told by the Genesis Forum Manager that Yoast said the Logo should be the H1 tag on the homepage. (Yoast has a WP SEO Plugin that is very popular) That makes no sense to me, so I was looking for Opinions. Thanks,

Img before or after h1 tag?
I like images to align right at top of content page. img tag before h1 tag looks better on page, but wondering if h1 tag before img tag is preferred by spider. Irrelevant? or possibly matters? thanks for any thoughts.
