Moving to a new domain for second time - critical, help needed fast!
-
Hello,
Important: please do not ask why we need to change the domain, its not the matter at all, thank you for understanding.
Over a month ago we successfully changed our domain name, 301 redirected, did GWT 'change of address' and all. The old domain was 2 years old, ranking very well, the new domain change of address was a success and traffic back on the new domain after a week. Today we need to change the domain name again, unfortunately, for some reasons, we have to, however we are not sure what to do in GWT, when I went to 'change of address' in the domain (the new first domain), i saw the following message (screenshot attached too):
This site is undergoing a move
Old URL | New URL
If any URL on the left should not be moved, you can withdraw its move request. To do this, click the URL and then Withdraw.
Now our questions:
1. For second time moving to a new domain, we should move from the old first domain (301 from the first old domain) or from the second domain (301 from the second domain)?
2. If from the old first domain, should we Withdraw from the first domain (lift up the first change of address in GWT) and then redirect the old first domain to the second new domain (the one we want to move now)? If yes, what to do with the first new domain (the one which we moved to a month ago)
3. If we should move from the first new domain, then what to do?
The situation is clear but confusing what to do? It's just that we need to change the domain name again, move to a new one, for the second time, now we should redirect from the first old domain or first new domain?
I purchased MOZ just to get help from you guys here, the only place i thought I could be helped. Of course gonna use Moz service too now that i have puurchased it
Awaiting your quick help guys.
Thank you!

Sad to see no reply yet, let me tell the scenario in short:
Domain A (two years old, ranking well)
A month ago we moved it to Domain B (301 and change of address, everything. After 2 weeks all traffic moved from Domain A to B successfully)
Now, for some reasons, unfortunately, we have to move to Domain C.
My question is, should I 301 and change of address from Domain B to domain C or from Doman A to domain C?
If we should move from A to C, then what do we do with Domain B in GWT?
Or we should move from domain B to C? then what to do with A?
Please help, this is very rare and critical matter.

Duplicate Content Question With New Domain
Hey Everyone, I hope your day is going well. I have a question regarding duplicate content. Let's say that we have Website A and Website B. Website A is a directory for multiple stores & brands. Website B is a new domain that will satisfy the delivery niche for these multiple stores & brands (where they can click on a "Delivery" anchor on Website A and it'll redirect them to Website B). We want Website B to rank organically when someone types in " <brand>delivery" in Google. Website B has NOT been created yet. The Issue Website B has to be a separate domain than Website A (no getting around this). Website B will also pull all of the content from Website A (menus, reviews, about, etc). Will we face any duplicate content issues on either Website A or Website B in the future? Should we rel=canonical to the main website even though we want Website B to rank organically?</brand>

Redirect domain or keep separate domains in each country?
Hi all Hoping this might be something that can be answered given the number of variables 🙂

My main site is www.isacleanse.com.au (Obviously targeted to Australian Market) and also www.isacleanse.co.nz targeted to NZ. The main Keywords im targeting are 'Isagenix' for both and also Isagenix Australia, Isagenix Perth, Sydney (Australian cities) and Isagenix NZ, Isagenix New Zealand, Isagenix Auckland etc.. for NZ The Australian site gets a lot more traffic and Australian market gets a lot more searches - I also have a section www.isacleanse.com.au/isagenix-new-zealand/ on the Australian site. The question is am I best off redirrecting the .co.nz domain completley to the Australian Domain to give it extra SEO Juice?0 -
Which one is better, a brand new subdomain or a second-level directory with PR 4
Hey, all SEOers! May I ask you a question about subdomain and second-level directory? Our website is about software, so we write many posts about how to use this software solve problems, and then use these posts to get ranks (we don't use the page of software to get ranks). And all the posts we wrote are listed under the second-lever directory, just like: www.xxx.com/support/ . But at this moment our boss want to list all the posts to the subdomain like support.xxx.com. By the way, the second-level directory is a page with PR 4, and the subdomain is brand new, even it doesn't exist now. So here is my question: should we list all the posts to support.xxx.com? If we choose to do like this, this will effect the speed of Google index, and we will take more time to build links for XXX.com and support.XXX.com? Any answer will be appreciated and thank you advance! to get rank instead of ranking the page of product,

Unique domains vs. single domain for UGC sites?
Working on a client project - a UGC community that has a DTC model as well as a white label model. Is it categorically better to have them all under the same domain? Trying to figure which is better: XXX,XXX pages on one site vs. A smaller XXX,XXX pages on one site and XX,XXX pages on 10-20 other sites all pointing to the primary site. The thinking on the second was that those domains would likely achieve high DA as well as the primary, and would passing their value to the primary. Thoughts? Any other considerations we should be thinking about?

Using Webmaster Tools to Redirect Domain to Specific Page on Another Domain
Hey Everyone, we redirected an entire domain to a specific URL on another domain (not the homepage). We used a 301 Redirect, but I'm also wondering if I should use the Google Webmaster Tools "Change of Address" section to redirect. There is no option to redirect the old domain to the specific URL on the new domain within the "Change of Address" section. Thoughts?

Exact domain or subfolder?
If I am targeting a specific keyword, from an SEO perspective is it better to create a subfolder on a url that has some authority or is it better use the exact domain with no authority? For example, if I want to target the word 'widgets' which is the better choice and why? **Choice 1: ** www.domainwithauthority.com/widgets Note: this domain has 1000 links to it **Choice 2: ** www.widgets.com Note: this is a brand new domain with 0 links
