How many backlinks should I incluede in guest blog?
-
Hello MOZ
I really need some help here and would love your advice!
I have access to a fantastic PBN through my sister's work colleague who is an experienced marketing director. The PBN is relative to my industry and are all DA 50+
My sister is a copywriter and is putting content together around 500-600 words long. My questions are:
- How many backlinks should she include in each guest blog post? Are 2 too many?
- Should the anchor text keywords be exact to the products I am selling?
- Tips/Advice going forward with the project?
Thank you!

Completely agree with the above two answers. I wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot pole if I was you!

I agree with Ed. I would not use this for a valuable site, or any site that is even remotely connected to a valuable site.
We get a continuous stream of messages from people who want to "blog on our site". We delete them because we know that most of these people want to send you a crappy post with links to crappy websites.

You're playing a really dangerous game here. The google algorithm maps the blogs to find correlations between who's posting on them and an unnatural link profile. PBNs are in direct breach of the rules so you may get a great result but you also might get a penalty and be wiped out.
So it's up to you. Sometimes this sort of thing works but you're playing Russian roulette with your revenue stream. How much revenue are you making from google? Is it your only channel? Can you afford to lost the entire channel for - say for example - two months while you try to undo the manual action for webspam?
I've seen the sophistication of the PBN products google uses first hand and it's not something I would want to mess with. but if you are wanting to make a quick buck and aren't worried about the long term viability of Google as a channel then go for it. But be aware that over-optimising anchor text is the sort of thing that will get google looking more closely at your site and then with the fact that the PBN has signals that show it's a PBN and then you'll wish you'd not ever tried to cheat.
This is effectively cheating. It's black hat. So proceed at your own risk. Maybe you need to go over and ask the folks on some other forums where they are more into this type of stuff. They will know how to get the best short term gains from things like PBNs.

My keywords have low search volume - is it still worth starting a blog?
I'm thinking of starting a new blog, but when I did my keyword research I found that my keywords all have low search volume (under 100 searches per month, with the occasional keyword having 480 searches a month). Is this a deal breaker? Any recommendations would be great - thanks everyone!

Is it okay to delete old blog posts?
Hi All, I'm doing some SEO work on an entertainment (movies/tv/gaming) blog that started in 2011. Their recent articles have gained some popularity due to improved content and marketing, but there is some old stuff from the early days that was poorly written and gets virtually no traffic. These are mostly old news pieces. Out of approximately 10,000 articles, about 1,000 are receiving the lions share of the traffic. I feel like their good content is getting bogged down in a sea of crap. Would there be any harm in deleting some of those old posts? Is there a best practice for culling content? Thanks!

Content: Best Blogs Article
Hello, For an Ecommerce site, I think a good way to get known is to write a "Best X Blogs" article, where X is a topic in your industry, and then letting the people you link to know about the article. I got the idea from a Mozinar. My question is, how close does the X from above have to be in your niche? For example, if your product is running shoes can you write a "best athlete blogs" article? I'm worried about them reading the article, then leaving. In some smaller niches the topics closest to the product don't have much in the way of blogs out there. So how close to your niche does the Best X Blogs topic have to be?

If you were guest blogging would you prefer a link or revenue share
I am looking at ideas at the moment, we have been getting a large number of guest bloggers wanting to write for our site but i have to say we are turning down around 90% of the articles as they are low quality. So i am just wondering, to attract high quality articles, should we carry on offering a link in the articles or offer them revenue share by asking for their google adsense code and putting it somewhere on the page. If we did offer this, how would we impliment this, we work on a joomla website and have read about rev share but not sure how we do this correctly. Would like to know people's thoughts on this

Guest Blogging - Home Page PR0
I have found a blog in my niche that accepts guest posts. However, the site is quite odd in that the homepage has a PR of 0 and all the other pages have a 2. I just wanted to check if it is still worth posting on this site as it looks suspicious to me. Thanks.

Too many articles within ecommerce site?
So recently purchased an ecommerce site to work on with lots of potential. The site was effected by Penguin update and now I am trying to fix up some issues. One of the problems I think may be the articles that he had written within the site. The site is an ecommerce site but has lots of articles like how to's and tips. A lot of these articles are not very fluent but seems to be written for SEO. Should I just remove them entirely or should I just stuff them in the back somewhere.
