Language redirction causing 302 issues
-
Hi,
I am getting an error on Moz campaign for 302 errors. The reason we have this redirection is because we have the website available in different languages and the website redirects to the language according to the area you are in.
e.g. www.keyhub.com/en or www.keyhub.com/es
I am guessing it might be a common issue for all the websites with multiple languages. Any solutions for this or should we just ignore this error?
Thanks,
Priyam

I checked using another tool and as I suspected it's an issue how your website is handling the redirects. Two major issues with your website SEO
-
- Your URL performed 1 redirects! While redirects are typically not advisable (as they can affect search engine indexing issues and adversely affect site loading time), one redirect may be acceptable, particularly if the URL is redirecting from a non-www version to its www version, or vice-versa.
- https://www.keyhub.com/en and https://keyhub.com/en should resolve to the same URL, but currently do not.
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Vijay

Hi Priyam,
Your site is built with Wordpress, and when I checked the other languages it is giving 500 error. It seems it is a problem how the site multi-lingual setup has been done. Please check with your developer to fix it.
I hope this helps, let me know if you have further questions.
Regards,
Vijay

Should I establish a Webmaster Tools site per language?
Our company services multiple regions. Our website is setup for France, International (en-gb), Spanish, United States and China. The websites share a common template and format and menu tree but each has unique content. Should I use a single Google Webmaster Tools site for all of these or establish each of them as a unique website?

I am trying to better understand solving the duplicate content issues highlighted in your recent crawl report of our site - www.thehomesites.com.
Below are some of the urls highlighted as having duplicate content -

http://www.thehomesites.com/zip_details/44135
http://www.thehomesites.com/zip_details/75227

Duplicate Issue
Hello Mozzers! We have a client going through a website revamp. The client is The Michelangelo Hotel, and they are part of Star Hotels. Star Hotels plans to create a section on their site for The Michelangelo, as opposed to maintaining a stand alone site. They will then take the michelangelohotel.com domain, and point it to the corresponding pages on the Star site. The guest will key in www.michelangelohotel.com, and will see the same content that can be found on www.starhotel.com/en/michelangelo-hotel-new-york. The problem we have is this: Essentially the same content will be indexed twice, once on starhotels.com and once on michelangelohotel.com. This would seem to cause a duplicate content issue. What are your thoughts? Edit: I apologize, because I was not nearly clear enough here. The Star Hotels site will have 5 pages dedicated to The Michelangelo Hotel. The content will sit solely on that server as those 5 pages. Those 5 pages will each be indexed as 2 URLs. www.michelangelohotel.com <-> www.starhotels.com/en/michelangelo/ www.michelangelohotel.com/accommodations <-> www.starhotels.com/en/michelangelo/accommodations And so on. Thanks!

Canonical Question For Different Languages
My client has a site that supports different languages in the following structure: www.domain.com - English version www.domain.com/IT - Italian version www.domain/DE - German version etc.... I have set the languages up within Webmaster Tools but do I need to set up the canonical tag for all internal pages as they are basically the same but just in a different language i.e. www.domain.com/index.php is the same as www.domain.com/DE/index.php but in a different language. Thanks

How serious an issue is Title Element Too Long (> 70 Characters)?
Hi, We have about 3000 of these, how serious an issue is this considered? Is it simply the fact that Google won't index the keywords if they are over 70 characters? Could we strip out common words here: 50 Worship Ideas for Small Groups by Stuart Townend | World of Books.com Like 'for', 'by' and probably the '.com'?
